i have a flush wall fitted Gerbrit system - would the Magnaloo fit into the tank and work?

They are quite small discs so would fit. They are put away from the water inlet. I have two in each system and would say they do not work. They been in place for several months in a hard water area.

Can these be used in a Victorian iron cistern?

Sorry not sure about that. Worked in ceramic system and was pleased, but this only happened once and limescale returned and did not work. Got a product from Aldi ...power force toilet cleaning tablets that you put in the bowl and they worked really well for us.

Can they be used in a sani flo toilet?
