Can I use this on my lips

We do not recommend this product if you wish to hydrate dry/chapped lips. Zinc Oxide is very water repellent and therefore a great barrier cream (and great for soothing irritated skin) however it is white in appearance (thick & creamy). It is therefore not a product we recommend for everyday lip care.

Our Calendula and Marshmallow Balm is a great multitasking product and is very popular for lip care as it is softening, hydrating and repairing. The texture of this product is more balm/ointment like. Hope this helps!

Hi, is this cream good for clearing blocked pores is it non comedogenic? Many thanks :)

I bought it for the dermatitis so I was applying it where it was flared out, but it didn’t help me very much. I found it a bit too heavy/settled on the surface. Based on that I probably wouldn’t think it would be good for clearing the blocked pores. But zinc is generally good for skin healing. And I cannot see there any comedogenic ingredient. Is it auitable for applying around bumwhole?Itchy,Sore bottom mostly during the night due to dry skin.

Hi, yes this product is gentle enough to apply to sensitive areas. It is very good for soothing irritated skin however you may find the Calendula and Marshmallow Balm more suitable if your skin is dry. Some report the Zinc to be a little drying if skin is already dry, where as Marshmallow is hydrating - both products are rich in Calendula (a soothing ingredient). We have many customers who alternate use between the two. The Zinc and Calendula Cream is a very effective barrier cream also.
