Bought the towels as I wanted one to use as a rag for my snooker due. They’re slightly rough which is what I wanted so brilliant. Only complaint is I really wanted the carlsberg one but it wasn’t included, neither was the Stella cloth. I had Becks, Newcy Brown, black sheep and I can’t even see the writing on the last towel. All in all, not a terrible purchase.

For some reason beer towels are rather unfashionable these days and outside of the drinks trade I had not seen them other than Norh of Birmingham, modern day venues seeming to prefer the wash down ‘ runners’ made of plastic to the old style beet towels. Having worked in the drinks trade I had an older supply from earlier in my career but these have proven very practical for mopping up spillages and as they are dark coloured they hold up rather better than tea towels as a cleaning/ mop up aid. The service was excellent with the goods arriving well packaged and in great condition - kudos to the sellers both for obtaining them and delivering them in tip top shape. Long may they continue..
