AirMan Tour 52-074-011 Tyre Pump

I don't go around puncturing my tires an aweful lot, infact only once in my car. However, I carry this with me on my motorcycle, especially if I go touring. Pair this with a puncture repairkit for tubeless tires, this serves me with some good peace of mind. Its compact and functions well for the size. Everything but the little yellow lid for nozzle compartment are well built. The pressure-gauge is fairly accurate and will surely served you well if you need to fill a tire, hell, no gauge would still be fine, it's not critical if you get 25 psi or 35 psi if you just need to get to nearest fuelstation or maybe a repairshop. Sure you can have a "S.O.S"-type payment that can come assist you. But even then, I think it's nice to be able to get yourself going in maybe 1 hour? Instead of having to wait for maybe 6-8 hours on the side of the road, maybe in 30 degrees celcius (plus or minus :) Same reason I carry a small fuel/jerry-can with me. Also because if you travel with others, chances are higher that one person might run into a problem. I also think it's nice that if you meet a fellow biker on the side of the road, you can pull over and ask if they have a problem. And even before knowing what problem they might have, you know there is a high chance you might be able to help. Because running out of fuel and puncturing a tire are some of the most common reason to be stranded on the side of the road. I bought a simple 12v cigarette lighter outlet and mounted it straight to my battery. So I have easy access to an outlet on my motorcycle, should I need it.

Absolutely brilliant pump, I used to have a powerpack/compressor/inverted pack all in one but that gave up so I got this to go with one of the portable jump packs. This is so small it can be carried in your motorcycle luggage or in the car. It pumps up quicker than most pumps i'veused in the past and the wire is long enough to pump up each tyre in my car (a 5 door astra) from the centre console. Comes with a nice fabric carry case. the cable fits inside the pump although some of it does still poke out the bottom of it for some reason. The hose wraps round the top of the pump and is a bit short and fiddly sometimes for me especially being a screw on type adapter which I find lets a bit to much air out when I remove it so I over pump to compensate for this. There are also football and airbed adapters included. The gauge is analogue and not really detailed due to its size but good enough to estimate where your pumping up to so would suggest getting a calibrated tyre pressure gauge to double check.

I think it fair to say this is a decent device - and if I'd read more carefully the questions and answers I'd not have bought this one (as I have a similar device that I bought at Tesco for less and is about the same size). I bought this as it has a duel fitment for sockets, DIN and standard. I recently bought a BMW Motorbike which is fitted with a DIN socket, but as others have stated, on starting the pump it trips the socket (to much power drawn). So I fitted an auxiliary socket directly wired to the bikes battery and that works just fine, but it rather removes the advantage of connecting to the fitted DIN socket. So buy a cheaper pump and spend the extra on a standard socket fitting would be my advice, but as I started - there is nothing at all wrong with this pump and brief testing shows it works. Luckily I didn't have to use it in anger on the road trip I bought it for (no punctures). In terms of suitability, this is a compact device in a nice carry bag that is light and doesn't take up much storage room.

It’s a good compact pump ideal for carrying on a motorcycle and a puncture repair kit. So you could plug a puncture and re inflate the tyre. I also use it to check pressure before my Sunday ride out.

I have used a Slime compressor on my bike for a few years and have been quite happy with it but upgraded to this as it has a small pressure gauge built in. Very pleased with the purchase. It is much easier to attach to the tyre valve than the Slime and unlike the Slime does not dump most of the air pumped in when the valve is removed.It is a lot quieter and faster and the gauge is a lot better than expected. It has some damping so the needle does not jump about while inflating and when I compare the reading with the bike's on board sensor and an expensive digital gauge it is very accurate. To finish off the ability to store the cable and air hose is better than the Slime as well. Another post has given it one star, said it failed after an hour and was useless. Well the instructions (in common with most electric pumps) clearly state the maximum use time is 10 minutes followed by 10 minutes cooling. This is more than enough to inflate the tyres on a motorcycle. Also the other poster was using it to inflate (from memory) a kid's pool. This is a COMPRESSOR which takes small amounts of air and provides high compression and is the wrong tool for inflating air beds, kid's pools, mattresses and similar. They need BLOWERS which take large amounts of air and provide low compression. For the job it's designed for this is perfect.

Yes, it helped pump my car tyre up, and reasonably quickly - but the gauge is SO inaccurate you might as well tape over it. Could have caused some serious damage if I believed what it said and just carried out pumping air into my car tyre. It was at least 5 PSI out. Very noisy, but it does say that on the box so not marking down because of that. Would I recommend it? Sure... but use your own tyre pressure checker.

Great wee tyre inflator. Like the fact that it screws onto the valve rather than clamping on. Gauge a bit small to be 100% accurate but good non the less.

El compresor es una maravilla. Pequeño pero potente. Es un poco ruidoso, pero como es muy rapido, no molesta. LA conexion a rosca que otros critican, para mi es un acierto, y no permite perdidas de ningun tipo. Primero lo probe rellenando presiones. Rapidisimo. Quizas demasiado para ser verdad, asi que lo probe a lo bestia, deshinflando por completo las ruedas. Es algo que nunca iba a ocurrir ( o quizas si) pero me parecio una buena manera de ver su rendimiento. Gratamente sorprendido, muy sorprendido. En 4minutos tenia la rueda delantera de la moto hinchada a 2,5bar desde cero. El latiguillo se calentó un poco. Un poquito mosca, lo deje descansar, pero en unos cinco minutos el latiguillo ya estaba normal, asi que me fui por la trasera. Y necesito menos de 6minutos para tener la rueda trasera a 2,9bar desde cero. Es moto grande(muy grande), con ruedas grandes (120/70 y 180/55) y me parece una excelente solucion para comprobar y completar presiones en sitios aislados o lejos de una estacion de servicio. SE recoge en muy poco espacio y tanto la conexion electrica como la neumatica tiene su espacio para no quedar descolocados. Precio excelente, muy por debajo de lo que piden paginas de motos. Y servicio super rapido.

Der AirMan ist ein superkompakter Kompressor, der durch eine intelligente Gestaltung des Gehäuses auffällt. Hier ist das umfangreiche Zubehör sicher verstaut, auch der Schlauch und das Kabel können sauber aufgerollt werden. Das Zubehör lässt fast keine Wünsche offen, von Fußball bis Badeboot kann wirklich alles beatmet werden. Ich verwende den Airman auf Motorraddtouren, zusammen mit einem Reifenflickzeug, das von Außen in die Lauffläche einbracht werden kann und kann mir somit bei einem Plattfuß durch Einstich zumindest bis zur nächsten Reifenwerkstatt helfen. Die kleinen Gaskartuschen aus dem Bordwerkzeug erscheinen mir hingegen nicht sehr vertrauenserweckend. Der Probelauf am Reifen verlief sehr erfolgreich, der kleine Kompressor hat ausreichend Kraft. Natürlich dauert es ein wenig, bis ein platter Reifen wieder aufgepumpt ist, aber es dauert sicher länger, bis der freundliche Herr vom Abschleppdienst auftaucht. Fazit: Für Notreparaturen absolut ausreichend, durch kompakte Abmessungen ideal fürs Motorrad Das es mit Lieferzeit und Verpackung von Amazon keinen Anlass zu Beanstandungen gab, soll hier nicht unerwähnt bleiben, das setze ich aber als unabdingbar voraus.

J'ai acheté ce produit pour pouvoir gonfler les pneus de mon VTT et de ma moto. Le produit est expédié rapidement et dans un bon emballage. On a une impression de qualité quand on le prend en main, il s'utilise facilement. Qualité principale il gonfle le pneu rapidement sans problème. Petit plus un petit rangement avec les différents adaptateurs pour les valves (ballons, petite et grosse valve...) et un petit sac de transport. Je recommande sans hésiter ce produit.

Ho comprato questo compressore dopo una foratura in moto. Le bombolette di CO2 incluse nei kit di riparazione non hanno infatti funzionato a causa di difetti nel rubinetto che perdeva aria e dopo tre bombolette ho dovuto gonfiare la gomma con una pompa per bicicletta per poter rientrare a casa. Ho provato questo compressore in garage. Il prodotto è fornito di pratico sacchetto di tela e ha l'alloggiamento per il cavo di alimentazione e per il tubicino di gonfiaggio. E' molto leggero e di ingombro modesto, ma con gli attrezzi per le riparazioni d'emergenza occupa comunque il suo spazio. Il cavo è lungo circa 3 metri e termina con uno spinotto che si adatta bene alla presa DIN della moto (BMW R1200 RT), che va tenuta accesa durante il funzionamento del compressore. Lo spinotto ha un meccanismo telescopico che immagino serva per la presa accendisigari, ma non l'ho provata. Il piccolo manometro integrato è piuttosto impreciso, infatti per gonfiare a 2.8 bar ho dovuto portare l'indicatore sul manometro a 3.1, ma basta saperlo per regolarsi di conseguenza. Non mi aspettavo una precisione maggiore ma è sufficiente per lo scopo. Sono soddisfatto dell'acquisto e dell'ottimo prezzo.

Es lento y ruidoso, pero mucho mejor que tener baja presión en los neumáticos. Funciona perfectamente y se guarda en un tamaño compacto. El cable de alimentación es muy largo.
