Soft; comfortable cover for arms of glasses as I am clumsy and always seem to bend my frame

I love these things! They're now my new favorite way to keep from losing my glasses, and I've tried a few different eyeglass cords too. These are very comfortable and just the right length too, plus the length is adjustable. The traditional cord length made me feel like an old granny (no offense to old grannies) with my glasses swinging around my neck and the traditional way they attached to the eyeglass arm. The traditional cord/string was uncomfortable because the weight of the glasses was concentrated into such a relatively thin cord and I could always feel them hanging around my neck when not on my face. It almost felt like if I wore them there long enough it's eventually start cutting into my neck (not really, but you get the point). But these are a thick, soft cloth and much wider in width, so they don't feel uncomfortable at all when hanging around my neck. I like the shorter length too. Plus I love the different colors they came in! Also, I wear Ray-Ban Wayfarer frames, and they have a thick, tall arm which is even taller at the end/tip. These may not appear in the photos like they'll stretch big enough to be able to slip over the end of the arms of Wayfarers, but they WILL. I did it with two pairs. It took a bit of finessing but they'll fit. So in short I really love these!

I think these straps to hold glasses are probably made for the sports enthusiast who wants to wear "seeing" eyeglasses or sunglasses while doing active things and wanting the glasses to stay on securely. I think these straps would probably be stellar for those uses. However, I was wanting something to attach to my reading glasses that I could wear around my neck when not being used and have the glasses handy to read a book or recipe or label etc. They do work for that, but because the fabric is quite thick, they drag quite a bit around my ears putting them on and off. So, okay but not the best for my use.

These are a bit looser than I expected.
