Quality however you would expect it for the price . It has a breather hole in the top to allow for excessive steam to release .. It fits the Wok (25cm) that i also purchased perfectly . Overall a little expensive considering how much the wok was , however it’s worth the price for the quality .

Quality lid that might be pricey but seems worth the money. The size matches the description and will easily fit 30 cm pans well.

I feel a bit miffed that this was not already included as part of the 25cm wok I bought - fits well and does the job however. Hopefully the last one I need to buy!

Super Deckel

It's very clear that top quality manufacturing went into this lid. The tempered glass is thick and sturdy. The handle is riveted rather than screwed on, so there's no chance of it coming loose. And best of all it never becomes too hot to hold. There's a also hidden layer of silicone padding between the glass and the stainless steel rim. I imagine that it helps soften the blow from accidental bumps. Such a well thought out design.

Fits perfectly for a 12.5 inch pan. The inner diameter with lip ring will fit an inner diameter pan of around 11.5-12.2 inch diameter. The tempered glass lid is heavy and of very good quality. The lid holder is cool to touch during cooking and the steam hole works fine. The lid was easy to clean - just need to make sure water droplets are removed around the seal. Doesn’t say HexClad anywhere so you can use this for any pan brand. While cooking the steam is maintained within the seal. I initially bought one of those cheaper unknown brands but the quality sucked - light weight, handle that had rough and sharp edges and just cheap looking. This one from HexClad is really worth the extra $10 you’d pay for the cheaper ones. Highly recommended!

Bought the "8 -inch" version. It fits my 8 inch ceramic frying pan like a glove. It feels like a quality item with just the right amount of weight. I like the clear glass design so I can see what's happening in my pan without having to lift up the lid. The seal keeps the steam in and the little venting hole is a nice addition. The handle is comfortable. Clean up is a breeze, either in the dishwasher or by hand. I absolutely love this lid.
