This is a potent oregano oil, the first I've tried without capsules. Because it is in olive oil it can be used topicallhy as is, but be careful not to use it on especially sensitve areas.For ingestion, the directions say to put about 5 drops in "a little water". The problem is that oil and water don't mix, so the water barely (if at all) helps to protect the esophagus. In fact if I take the oil with water only my esophagus is so irritated all day that I cough all day long. So I put the 5 drops into an empty vegan capsule followed by water to prevent the irritation (and possible tissue damage) of the esophagus. I have to be very careful not to drip any oil onto the outside of the capsule. Also I don't fill more than 1 capsule at a time because the thin capsules will melt from the liquids.I already had a half gallon mason jar filled with empty vegan capsules for various herbs/powders, so it was no problem. Vegan capsules are not expensive, but capsules filled with oregano oil are expensive compared to buying the oil itself.

My only possible complaint would be that the cap screws back on too tight if you're not careful. Make sure you don't seal it too tight that you can't reopen it, if you're not too strong or have weak joints. The formula itself is great. If you're used to the smell and taste of intense oregano oil/herb like I am, you'll find this great. I wouldn't say it relaxes, if anything, in my experience, oregano can act as a natural stimulant. It's very thick and potent, only use one or two drops at a time, and always diluted. But works very well. Keeps one healthy, I believe.

Although I'm not new to natural remedies, I've sadly neglected to try oregano oil for its many known benefits until now. After once burning my skin with undiluted oregano oil, I had put oregano oil on the back burner.As many reviewers note, it's very strong. Which is a good thing. I just got the bottle, so all I can report right now is that it's a great, potent formulation that has caused me no irritation. Hope to feel some of the health benefits others have experienced.I also think it's very reasonably priced.

I bought a second bottle after the positive effects I got...I realized that not only can you take this orally. But it also absorbs through the skin. I place it on the bottom of my feet with a sock at night. I get a good night sleep and wake up feeling good.

I purchased this organic oregano oil for its medicinal benefits and largely based on its healthy ingredients; it's fairly priced and a great value in my opinion. Nicely packaged. Amber bottle. No stickiness and easy to dispense. It's extremely potent, however, so buyer beware. I've been unable to take it as prescribed: approx. 5 drops in a small amount of water. I tried to dilute it in larger amounts of flavored fluids: orange juice, tea with lemon, etc., but if anything, the potency seemed to be greatly amplified.Presently, I use it in addition to my mouthwash with only one drop in the cap of my mouthwash bottle. It's not a pleasant taste at full potency, so I intend to begin reducing the dosage per few ounces of water multiple times a day to get the daily dosage.

I reached out to the company, and to their credit, they immediately replaced the product with no questions asked. This is impressive stuff. I must admit that the cabinet I keep it in makes me hungry for Italian food when I open the door. So far, it is working pretty well. I have noticed a difference in my sleep and feel some relief in the pain department. I think it is great to be able to take something that is more likely not to have any side effects and smells like you just walked into a pizza joint.
