Deep world building and actual character development
If you like techno-fantasy, you will love Throne of Glass. Deep world building, and (gasp) actual character development in a fantasy fiction. I have never met a techno-fantasy fan who didn't read this whole series twice through.

Good books, early delivery
I had this series on my TBR for a long time. Finally when ordered the books came in good quality. No damage to the books. Only one edge of the box was little torn, but it's trivial. 5/5⭐️ for delivery as I was delivered one day earlier.

very good quality and quick to arrive
Arrived two days early in a very secure package with all the books in good condition. The box is a little damaged at the sides but it’s barely noticeable and there was also a cute poster inside the box. The only thing i found weird is that the books in my box were out of order. Updating this while i’m reading them: The covers paperbacks of two books of the series are kind of falling apart, i had to buy a special glue and fix them myself of the covers would’ve broke. I don’t know if it was the material used by Bloomsbury or just not done right but it was very annoying. The rest was great.

Great story, very addictive. PG-13 until Book 4.
Alright. Okay. I'll admit it. This book series was REALLY addictive. I'm so glad I got the whole set. And even though this is the complete series, I feel like there miiiight be a "Book 9" someday? Maybe? Hopefully? The main story is complete, but it'd be awesome to have a spinoff story someday. Like a "3 years later" sequel of sorts. Like the Southern Continent "Tower" story, it'd be awesome to have a "Wastes" story someday. As for these eight books, there aren't any explicit scenes until... Book 4? Maybe? The first few books were all "fade to black" on the steamy scenes, which I was I actually hoping/looking for in order to recommend this book series to teenagers. Unfortunately, since the steamy scenes get more detailed as the books go along, I won't feel right recommending this series to high school kids. They'll just have to find this series on their own someday... Which is such a shame because apparently the author wrote the first book when she was only 16! I would've loved to recommend this to kids of the same age. All in all, though, it's a great story. I definitely loved it the entire way through. Fingers crossed for a Book 9 someday focusing on Manon. Or Dorian. Or both. Here's to hoping. :D

One of the books slightly damaged
One of the books in the set was obviously already damaged before it was added to the box set and wrapped and shipped out. Bit disappointed.
