it works
I work in a small company building houses and we don't wear helmets and I am often banging my poor old bald head leaving some nasty cuts and scrapes. This wears like a baseball cap and gives the protection I need. Has saved me from embaressing marks many times already.

Its comfortable
The cap arrived on time. First glance made me think it would be uncomfortable there is only a little padding between the plastic shell and your head. However I wore it all day with no discomfort at all. It also looks quite good!

Great protection
Good protection without looking like a hard hat

Saved me many times!
I bought this after finally giving in and buying a 2-post car lift for home. I'm 6'2 and can clear about 95% of the underneath of the car...it's the 5% which I was worried about. On way too many occasions I have either got up, turned around or moved suddenly and cracked my head (on usually the nastiest piece sticking out from under the car...brake disc backplates being a favourite) and the bump-cap has saved me from a pretty nasty injury.I wear it with a clip-on light and is just so useful.Due to the nature of the cap (having an inner shell) it's not the softest, most comfortable thing to wear but I wouldn't be without it. If I lost it tomorrow I would immediately buy another one.

Not great.
1st impressions were, looks smart, good ventilation etc. However, after trying it on it quickly became apparent that it was going to be comfortable. I found the foam inner annoying to the touch on my head. I like the velcro adjuster over the buckle type but it's not as fitting as I thought it might be. I feel for £12 it's over priced even though it looks the part. I have one off ebay that was £6.50,CE marked and has far more comfort! What you don't see in the pics is sealey website embroidered across the back of it! I'd check with your boss before buying as mine had a rant over it! So, in a nut shell.... Over priced, looks good, not too comfortable and carries an embroidered sealey Web address across the rear! Not great.

Smart hard hat
Very smart hat but also very safe for my brother to use when working. Although hard for protection to the head he wears it all the time so very comfortable. Looks like a normal base ball cap

My cap has saved me from a lot of pain ...
My cap has saved me from a lot of pain so far as I am tall and frequently catch my head on the tops of door frames. However, it really could do with more ventilation as it makes my head very sweaty.
