This book is a fantastic starter or a great review piece as for me. I reloaded all forms of ammunition as a kid with my dad, but felt that after 20 - 30 years I needed a solid review of the process before beginning to reload again. As a beginner to reloading this book gave me a very good understanding of many of the processes tools and parts of the reloading process. While the formulas may be a bit out of date some still apply so they are not completely bogus. Very worth my money.

easy to find information. Covers all gauges

It is a good reference source for using older shot shell components. It references some of the older wads and hulls I have that you can no longer find reloading data for.

The loads for the hulls and powder I am using were somewhat limited, but overall I am very happy with the publication.

I have been shotgunning for years but I found useful info about reloading. A good read for the beginner with step by step instructions and photos. The load guide is up to date with good data.For the person with reloading experience it is a good go to book.

I found the book to be very informative at the start. When it came to load receipes it leaves a little to be desired. The shot load is given only on the page at the beggening of all the receipes, so if you don't mind going back through the pages to make sure of the shot weight you are loading then it is okay. I prefer to have the shot weight listed on all pages; that, to me is a safer way of doing it and much more convient.

I would highly recommend this book for anyone interesting in shotgun reloading. It is an easy ready, has plenty of charts, and makes the concepts of reloading shotgun shells all that much more easier. It is an interesting read even for the casualshotgunner. Buy it and enjoy it.

Nice book with some practical advice...but........it is geared for the american market.Dont expect to find load formulae for european powders or primers.

Very usefull book

Too wordy and provides limited information. He throws in scientific facts to seem more authoritative but he clearly doesn't understand them. For example, he doesn't know the difference between microseconds and milliseconds. Also, he mentions the atomic weights of elements commonly used in shot alloys and tries to relate this to the density of each of those elements without understanding that the strength of the attraction between atoms plays an important part. This book needs a good editor and either get the information right and/or leave out what he doesn't understand and in some cases isn't necessary.

Da ja hierzulande das Wiederladen von Schrotpatronen / Flintenlaufgeschosse eher ein Randgebiet ist , ist auch die Literatur nicht ganz so ausgeprägt wie die in den Vereinigten Staaten.Leicht verständlich geschrieben und doch noch der eine oder andere Tip bei der nicht schadet. Im Anhang befinden sich auch jede Menge Ladedaten, die nicht schlecht sind.
