Hello, does this fit into a standard UK double wall socket back box (used for normal wall plug/mains power sockets)?

This (and others of similar design) are sized to fit a North American standard socket box. Suggest you look on Amazon's sister sites in the US/Canada and order those. Search for a "low voltage gang box".
