A few years back my GI told me to take papain every day to help my IBS. People who are complaining that the Now plant enzymes has not solved their bloating problems need to know that they suffer from some bacterial infection like SIBO or CANDIDA or leaky gut or food allergy like gluten allergy. Digestive enzymes wont correct that. Only if you have deficiency in digestion this is going to help. People with lactose intolerance ma also benefit from digestive enzymes. For me the gall bladder was removed 10 years back. As a result their is insufficient bile juices reaching my intestine. So I decided to compensate it with digestive enzymes. After some research I picked NOW Plant enzymes. I have been taking it for one month. I feel better now. I also changed my diet along with the digestive enzymes intake. I stopped SUGAR completely. It is the culprit that promotes lots of bad bacteria in our stomach, particularly Candida. No MILK consumption. Less carbohydrates. You may also try oregano oil to clean your digestive tract.
