Clever, flexible product, with myriad uses
This is a very clever product.I have used the white version to fix a fractured wooden window frame. The window was so damaged that it kept falling past its catch, but the Sugru, applied quickly and easily, set within 24 hours and the window has been solidly behind its catch ever since.I have also just used the black version to fix a fractured shower screen runner track. The wheel the door hangs on was getting stuck and making a loud clanking noise every time we pulled the shower screen open or closed. This was because the track the wheel runs on had somehow shattered, leaving a fractured hole into which the wheel noisily sank every time the door was used. A bit of Sugru in the hole and within 24 hours the wheel was able to move along the track smoothly again, without any noise or annoyance. For the price and flexibility of use, this is one of the cleverest products I have come across. Highly recommended

Don't cheap out for a fake product like I did get this one
I have to let you know that I am very tight with my money and I thought I could get these cheaper from China but I was so wrong I purchased a product from China that said it was the same product .I have a broken rubber around my car window and as most people will know the air on the motorways comes whistling in which is annoying.I applied the Chinese knock off and left for 36 hours I drove down the motorway and the wind noise was reduced but still there.I then checked the elasticity of the Chinese product and it just crumbled in my hands.I bit the bullet and purchased Sugru and when it arrived the packaging is minimal but practical when you open one of the foil sachets you are greeted with the product which is very pliable I rolled the product into a snake shape and applied to my car door frame where the rubber had been previously torn.I pressed it fairly firmly into place and moulded as best I could to get it to look like the rest of the window rubber. I then left the car window open slightly open overnight as the rubber was torn top left corner originally. It was very cold overnight and wet so I expected the product to of failed to work but I was happy to be wrong, the product had set firm. I operated the window up into the recess and the rubber/Sugru now sits snug against the glass the product is still flexible and even looks the same colour as the rest of the window rubber which was a nice surprise.I will purchase more of this product in future as my lesson has been learnt with cheaping out for an inferior product.

Great Stuff, Not Cheap but Definitely Recommended
I like this stuff and have used it regularly. I also usually have a sachet or two hanging around the place just in case. I might add like I do with Super Glue if I use the last one I will go and order some more despite the fact that I think it’s a bit over priced, so that in itself is saying something. A pack has 3 sachets of mouldable putty glue which is easy to use and mould and smooth around things to basically repair or reinforce etc. I seem to basically fix, reinforce or repair cracked cable coverings, making cable tracking holders, feet for speakers or objects that have furniture protection pads on them that always fall off and you loose them which it does very well indeed. I keep black in stock but will order different colours if really needed as you can get other colours. When I use the black it leaves my fingers tips stained but washing your hands with regular soap sorts that out. I personally think that the sachets have to much in them, for a simple cable fix I never seem to use it all. This means I therefore waste some most of the time, the reason is that as soon as this stuff hits the air it starts to cure and you can’t keep it for later. What would be nice is if the sachets were 1/2 the size so you got 6 smaller ones instead of 3 large ones, after all if you need a bit more open another pack. This is for me recommended product which I find really useful. Only 4 Stars thoughts due to the cost and sachets being a lit bit to big for my liking.

Just brilliant for what I wanted
I bought a rather nice folding workbench, that has a black molded hard plastic top. And managed on the first use to drill a hole through one of the sides. So cursing more than a bit (the damage was purely cosmetic, but it really hurt as I love my kit pristine), I tried to think on how to fix it... And I remembered reading about Sugru a while ago, and thought, it could not make it worse. I'm really glad I did, the stuff is brilliantly easy to use, the small sachet was way more than I needed (I fixed a cable my cat had chewed on with the rest), and the repair is close to invisible. Some users have said it flaked off fast, but I took a while to write the review to see if that was the case, and nope, so I suspect theirs was coming close the use by date (little tip, keep the stuff in your fridge to keep it usable for longer).I know sugru has become my first port of call for little repairs :)

Fixes things you think are unrepairable...
Ordered to fix our babies car mirror that my hubby broke and 'forgot' to tell me about...I thought it would be unrepairable as the mirror section came completely off the backing plate that attaches to the headrest, plus the connection was slightly twisted so not a clean straight surface to just glue back on, then I remembered I'd seen Sugru ages ago and couldn't think what I would use it on so ordered it as my only hope, it worked perfectly! Ordered the black, there were no instructions but I had an idea how it worked and had a look on the internet, just literally moulded it around the parts and left it overnight, it's not rock solid and it has a slight flex to it but it's held it there and the mirror is now back in the car doing its job so I'm happy! Great product..

Super Produkt

Fixed the cracks in my hollow molded shoe soles
Bear with me on this story. About six years ago I bought a pair of women's leather oxfords called Clarity by Naturalizer. About 3 years ago, as the heels worn down, the man-made molded soles started to crack and expose the hollow insides. Grrrrr! I wasn't about to throw them away. I found a YouTube video about some guy making his own custom arch supports. He used 100% clear silicone caulk and a couple of drops of glycerin. The glycerin cures the silicone so the middle of it gets hard, too. Works like a charm. So I got the idea of pumping the heels of my shoe full of that stuff to help stabilize the sole. That worked great, but it didn't fix the visible, gaping cracks in the soles. I tried all kinds of glue and they didn't work. Over a year ago I bought some Sugru to fix my expensive Bose headphone cables that were getting quite a bit of wear and the wires were peaking through. It worked perfectly and over a year later there is is no sign of cracking or peeling. I thought maybe it would work for my shoe soles. I bought some more and troweled in into the cracks, smoothed it out as best as I could and let it cure for a couple of days. It was sorta like patching drywall. OMG! It worked. With all the force of my body pounding on hard surfaces while walking, it's holding up perfectly. And now that it has a few scuff marks on it like the rest of the sole, you can't even tell I had done any patching. This stuff is pure magic. I only gave it 4 stars for ease of use because it's quite sticky to work with. Also, only 4 stars for pricing. For such a little bit, it's not cheap and it does have a shelf life. Use it soon after you buy it. Thank you, Sugru, for saving my shoes.

incroyable !

Fantastic.
I resurrected a dead bong and fixed a broken pair of headphones, this stuff is fantastic, you don't get a lot but you won't find anything else quite like it, it's easy to mold like playdough and is very resistant to wear, heat and could probably be easily scraped or removed if desired. I always want to have a pack of this around just incase anything breaks, I can think of a million uses. Would highly recommend as a gift, you don't even have to be a handyman to appreciate it but just in that how simple and amazing it is it really does make every day repairs way easier.
