Seems expensive for what it is
Very amateurish look to the book for the money. Previous reviews have stated that it is useful and informative but I can't comment on that as it is a gift. Disappointed, doesn't seem value for money paid.

Takes the guesswork out of printing on fabric
I'm mixed media artist with previous experience in analog photography/printing processes, but really wanted to experiment with cyanotyping on fabric and other material. This book has proved very helpful, took the guesswork out of sourcing materials for the printing process. It has suggestions for the types of fabric you can print on and the different results they might produce, and how to care for them afterwards.

A good jump-start to the exploration of an exciting art media
Cyanotype is a new study for me, and this book presents a good overview and basis for further study. Most books on this topic are far more expensive and esoteric, so this was a good jump-start to my explorations, without spending a lot more money. It presents good, basic ‘how-to’ examples, then it leads to some suggestions for experimentation. I enjoyed the book and it sent me down the road to explore this exciting media in my fiber artwork.
