Good product
Quite difficult to get the seeds to germinate but worth it if you manage to get a bonsai out of it. I did get one particular seed to germinate quite well and looks like potentially one more variety so I would say worth the money.

A real letdown - seeds don't germinate
I bought this as a gift for my husband, who loves growing plants, he's successfully grown many from seeds taken from friends' plants and from chili seeds bought elsewhere. Unfortunately, none of the trees advertised in this box germinated. Oddly, all the "bonus" free seeds included in the box did germinate and are still growing, though we have no idea what they actually are. The real letdown was customer service. When I reached out, they promised replacement seeds, but after four follow-ups and reassurances, nothing ever arrived. Empty promises. Given the advertised seeds failed to germinate and the company didn't honour its promise to make it right, I can't recommend this product

Great product
Can only comment on what arrived in box . Great product . Takes a while to grow so can't comment on plants yet . But amazon pushes for reviews

This is how my trees are doing
I will update my review as they grow. I followed the instructions either soaking, stratifying the seeds (putting them in the fridge), and for the complementary flame tree seeds I filed them down as they have very tough shells before I soaked them. Maple tree seeds are in the fridge, I'll update once planted. - EDIT did not germinate! :( Judas tree seeds are in the fridge, will update once planted. - EDIT did not germinate Flame tree seeds: 2 out of 3 germinated, the 2 are doing well outside in the sun. (I live in the UK) Wisteria: 1 out of 6 germinated, but it isn't doing well. The others turned into mush in their seed shells, maybe that was my fault? I kept them moist but they didn't sprout sadly. I will probably grab some more and try again. The complementary silk mimosa seeds all germinated and most are doing quite well (they like having their own space, I planted some close together and you can tell they are competing - that's my fault) I ended up with about 8 mimosa trees. The Japanese Pine seeds mostly all germinated, they're still very small and I haven't transplanted them to their own pots yet as they're too small. I've got about 5 pine seeds that have germinated into little saplings. - saplings dried up and died, probably too much competition as they all germinated in the same pot. :/ my fault. Overall, most species germinated, I didn't get one healthy Wisteria which is sad. But some species definitely flourished more than others. It's worth giving it a go. My advice is keep them moist (BUT NOT TOO WET, don't waterlog them) and well aerated, don't let mould grow in the soil, check your pots daily especially if you're using fibre pots. The name sticks grew mould in the soil, don't recommend using them inside the soil.

Not bad, but not great either
It was not clear what seeds were in each packet. I received 6 different types of seeds and 4 pots, so I just planted 4 random ones.

Terrible
When I picked up the box from the parcel the lid wasn't sealed. There were pieces from the kit missing - ie no zip lock bags - and the "free seeds" were for a mimosa tree, which is notoriously invasive. Even as a bonsai tree the seeds produced from this will spread and choke out other plants. After 24 hours soaking the seeds for the red acer tree they were floating and the water was yellow/brown as shown in the photograph. These seeds were dead and hollow and would not grow under any circumstances. One pack of the seeds arrived open, again as shown in the photos and they were scattered across the bottom of the box. I am extremely disappointed with this product, it was meant to be a present. The description is misleading, it says all you have to do is put soil in one of the pots, sprinkle in some seeds and leave to grow. It actually involves soaking the seeds and leaving them in the fridge for at least a fortnight. There are not enough pots supplied and as someone else noted only one black plant pot. Do not buy this product.

Carino
