Just what we needed
Fits perfectly on our outdoor drain. Just what we were looking for to keep large debris like leaves out. We did have a typical plastic cover but the dog preferred it to be elsewhere in the garden so the drain was left exposed. So far this one has stayed in place and seems to be doing well. Feels good quality, and for a good price.

Perfect! One fits over a black plastic grid... with large holes, (that allows pebbles to fall in between the holes), and cost me £160 plumber call out. The second fits over a smaller grid... and offers layered protection against leaves getting trapped.

As described but very light.
Be aware that this item is made of thin ( 0.025 thou = 2/3 mm) material, so is very light. In a gully in a position exposed to strong and/or gusty winds, it may be necessary to put something on top to weigh it down, to stop it being blown away.

Stainless steel drain covers
We have gravel in the area around a kitchen drain, this product fits neatly over the existing plastic drain grid cover and stops the smaller pieces of gravel dropping into the drain, the small holes in the cover allow rainwater to still drain away. Stainless steel, looks good, although a thinish plate it is pretty rigid and strong so stays in place and also not likely to buckle if larger pieces of gravel build up on it. The other option was a solid plastic raised cover which seemed too big for smaller drains (6"x6") and also don't look too good in my opinion, the stainless steel cover looks much better to me. I ordered the set of two so one retained as backup just in case. Quick despatch and good value for money for this product.
