Smeg BCC01RDMUS Fully Automatic Espresso Machine, Red 3 preset buttons for Espresso Cappuccino and Coffee Adjustable Grinder for Whole Beans

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I encountered with the Smeg BCC01TMPUS fully automatic coffee machine in Taupe that I recently purchased.The machine was received on January 24th, 2024, and unfortunately, there was a voltage discrepancy between Europe (110V) and Egypt (220V) which led to a short circuit and the failure of a crucial spare part.It is evident that the machine, designed for 110V, was inadvertently subjected to 220V, resulting in an electrical malfunction. I have attached a photo of the spare part that requires replacement, which is essential for restoring the functionality of the coffee machine.I have reached out to SMEG company directly to inquire about purchasing this component and to resolve the issue. However, I was informed that the spare part is not available and there is no spare parts service provided for this particular model.I am surprised and disappointed that such an essential spare part is not available, especially considering the reputation of Smeg for quality and reliability. It is disheartening to have paid for a product that cannot be utilized due to a lack of support in providing the spare part nor providing a solution or alternative course of action for the issue.
