Philips LivingColors Mini Colour Changing Mood Light White (Integrated 1 x 5 Watts LED Bulb)

I bought this to highlight what was a dark area under stairs.I did not need remote control.Great product and very cost effective.Makes the room feel warm and has put life into a dark corner.Supplier was excellent. Very fast and wrapped well.

Great for lighting up a corner in a white room. Throws out coloured light for about 1-2 metres so whilst it won't light your whole room, it can give a nice accent. The ability to mix you own colour is great - not unlimited, but some good 'inbetween' shades like teal, grass green, light orange, pale pink etc.The disco-esque light cycling setting is pure madness, but maybe you like that.Build feels a bit flimsy and front-heavy - my friends, who are lighting designers - have something a couple of models up which is much more powerful. Cord is maybe 1.5m long? Could do with being longer. I had to hang my multiplug extension thingy off the wall beneath my desk in order to sit this comfortably on top of the bookshelf.I got it originally because I get Seasonal Affective Disorder (winter depression) and though having some blue-ish light could help. Actually I don't really use it for that (get daylight bulbs for your main room light instead, or if you want to invest, a SAD lamp, and a wake-up light) but it gives a nice glow to the corner where my speakers are when playing music.

Bought this for my girlfriend to add some mood lighting to her dingy and dark university room. She loves it, to the naked eye its just as bright as its bigger brother. It only has the colour-changer on the rear, so if you want to set favourites or use this as a disco light, you need to buy the larger one that comes with the remote control. If you are tied for space, or cash, get this one because the difference is negligible.

Love this light. Brings a really nice soft atmosphere to which ever room you choose to have it in. Only design flaw for me if that I like to have it on the colour changing setting all the time but when you switch it off and back on it comes on to a static colour meaning you have to set it to colour change every single time.

Great in the dark

Not bad, but I would say that the lamp doesn't change the lights gradually, so it is not possible to choose some light you would like.

Love this lamp, nice size not too big and like the modern design,the colours are really soothing not too bright very pleased with this purchase..

Really good but expected more area covered by the light personally and more colours seemed to be roughly 7 colours expected more shades of each colour .. Very glad l got it though
