I said to myself this is a bit much for a laptop case but I wanted my daughter to know you protect what you spend money for especially when it comes to electronics. This case not only is a cover but can also function indefinitely if you don’t want to carry a laptop bag. It did add bulk but that’s to be expected for protection. I think it could take a drop and be just fine but we won’t test that out. I’m pleased with the quality and stitching on the case. It appears it will last for the lifetime of her laptop. Money well spent
