I cut the piece I wanted to size. As I intended to use the product as a shower pump sound insulator in a cupboard near a bedroom I decided to test the off cut for fire retardant properties. With a flame applied to it, it burned giving off a black smoke. I have thrown the product in the bin. Beware.
