Not Just For Walter Mitty Types
If you want an insight into the skills and techniques employed by SF and Intelligence Service operatives, this is a good book to give you an overview. The information on trade craft is good but the book isn't just of interest to budding Walter Mitty types. Depending on the sort of activities you get up to, and what parts of the planet you visit, the contents of this book could potentially save your life, and get you out of serious scrapes. The information given on defeating the security of others also serves a useful purpose in highlighting our own vulnerabilities, allowing us to take remedial measures. For instance, and on a very basic level, learning just how easy it is to quickly clone a set of keys will hopefully stop you from ever leaving yours unattended, or placing them on view again. There's advice here applicable to kinetic encounters too, with defensive skills such as disarming a pistol carrying assailant, surviving a grenade attack and coping with an active shooter incident. Offensive skills and techniques are discussed as well, but unless your own life is demonstrably under imminent and serious threat, using some of them would see you ending up with a criminal record and a long stay in prison. So it's best to absorb this particular material with a view to educating yourself as to what others might potentially do to you, unless you maintain good situational awareness, and always remain vigilant. The author is a retired SF Operator with Seal Teams 3 and 6, and the NSA.

100 deadly skills
Great value for money, this book has everything to keep you alive, well done to Clint, just the book I have been looking for, if any book will keep you alive this book will. Money well spent, full of fantastic information, this is definitely a prepper book you should not be without. It is written well, clear and concise. Easy to read, lots of illustrations easy to carry in your back pack. The topics covered you will not find in other prepper books, it's as the author says, apply the information responsibly and wisely. I will be sharing this book and recommending to other responsible people. Thank you for your knowledge shared and your service.

Not what it's cracked up to be in my opinion
This is okay, but the bits that are likely to useful to the ordinary person are just common sense, for instance, using concrete pillars, not flimsy items to take cover behind, if there is an attack on a shopping centre, run in a zig zag direction to be harder to hit. Much of the rest of the content is for want to be people playing at special forces, I mean why do ordinary UK people need to know how to cross land or sea borders without detection, or pick locks. How to make a home made tazer, some bits like that are highly illegal here and really should not be in a book for all the idiots to read. I learned virtually nothing from it that I didn't already know or have no use for. I think that the title and the fact that an ex seal has written it is probably why it sells. There is the odd useful bit of info for those with no common sense such as go for hotel rooms no higher than the second floor, so that exit in a fire are easier. Also what normal person needs to know how to clear their dive mask without the bubbles giving away their position! However don't let me put anyone off it's not exactly a fortune to make up your own mind.
