reisenthel carrybag signature navy- Sturdy shopping basket with plenty of storage space and practical inner pocket - Elegant and water-repellent design

The quilted shopping basket has become ubiquitous enough that knockoffs flood discount retailers, but the original Reisenthel version demonstrates why it spawned so many imitators. The midnight gold colorway elevates what could be purely utilitarian into something presentable for farmers markets or casual errands. The 3D diamond quilting provides structure without excessive bulk, and the recycled polyester construction feels substantial at just under a kilogram. Water-repellent coating proves useful for damp produce or unexpected weather. The 22-liter capacity handles substantial shopping without becoming unwieldy. Handle construction distributes weight well across the palm, important when carrying heavier loads. The proportions work for both hand-carrying and over-the-arm transport, though extended use with full loads tests any basket’s comfort limits. At its price point, it’s expensive for what amounts to a fabric bag with structured sides. However, the build quality and thoughtful design details justify the cost over cheaper alternatives that lose their shape or develop tears quickly. The midnight gold finish coordinates well with the matching wheeled cart for those building a complete shopping system.

Reisenthel makes a wonderful light weight shopping basket easy to assemble and effortless to carry. It’s a great way to shop without the need to bring along shopping bags.

I adore this basket. I saw it in a home goods store in Munich, and I was so glad to find it here. The quality is great -- it's sturdy, the fabric is thick and pretty to look at, and it can be packed full and heavy. I hold it on my forearm, and that does get heavy and uncomfortable after a while, but it's manageable. Note that the basket itself does not fold -- only the handle folds down. To assemble it, you have to insert two plastic strips into the sides of the basket, so once those are in place, the basket is not able to fold down in any way.

Have had this shopper for7+years and love it, I use it for almost every day and it has held up great. Perfect for everything, from the farmers market to work to mom duty. I have mostly used mine for work, because I love that it fits my laptop plus any notebooks, literature, samples or etc I need to bring with me as well as room for a small purse, my lunch& a drink (which will stay upright when packed well). I recently bought a second one to use as a diaper/mom bag as I found myself switching over constantly, and now I can just grab a different shopper based on which mode I’m in, I feel like I’ve unlocked a new level of efficiency. I have a diaper caddy insert inside, with plenty of room for a few toys, library books, snacks, a carrier, and my things too.

Beautiful basket in every way!!! High quality sturdy basket. Looks like it will last a very long time!

There fit a lot of your groceries in there. Even if you think first it would look kind of small. Very good quality. It’s very easy to carry and transport . Handle is sift and good for carrying.

Just love this basket. The brackets insert into sleeves to help it maintain its shape. The handle folds to the side making it easy to unload. These make shopping in stores with no bags (Costco/sams/etc) a breeze. Can’t say enough about these totes! Wish it were a little less expensive but the quality is unparalleled. I have 3 now and use them regularly.

Very sturdy. I keep this in the car and use it at the grocery store. It holds a lot, up to 40 lbs, I believe the instructions said. Now I don’t have to use the dirty/disgusting baskets at the grocery store.
