A highly useful book and worth purchasing as an additional source of ...
I am not an expert in this field but many things said in this booklet sounded highly interesting. Mathematics of a solar system well explained and did not confuse me. A highly useful book and worth purchasing as an additional source of unbiased information.

Reliable guide
An excellent book.

Too repetitive
Taking into account the size of print, and repetitive statements, this book may have been condensed into asmaller version with far fewer pages. However interesting.

User
Not impressed
Its an okay guide to evaluating solar panels but not very impressive. Expected more calculations and some discussion about state of the art.
User
O.K. but not that useful
The book starts off well but after some useful chapters it focuses on the second hand and DIY market which isn't very relevant in the UK. Information is always useful, but there is nothing here that is game changing..
User
Excellent.
Very good book, lots of invaluable information.

Thanks, GREAT PRODUCT
The book is great since I got in a concise form the essential info about cheap and second-hand solar panels. Both internet and the real world swarm with books and guides about how to assemble a DIY solar electric system but it’s hard for me to find the pros and cons of such a decision packed together and supported by some smart calculations. If you’re an avid DIY-er, this book will not provide you with info you don’t know. Instead it draws your mind and attention on issues you should constantly beware of. The book is an excellent guide not only for PV beginners simply because, judging from my own experience, it’s rather easy to forget some plain truths while hanging in PV forums on the web.

Good starter
Very helpful for understanding solar panel specifications provided by vendor.

Watts to know
Have enjoyed this information and great for my solar theory seeking. Easy to read and absorb.

Waste of money
The content bears no resemblance to the title. The content itself (DIY solar installation planning) is poorly edited, if at all, and requires proof reading and typesetting. Unnecessary use of free clipart graphics doesn't improve the poorly-ordered content. The only good thing I can say is that, due to a very large typeface, the book only wastes an hour of your time cover to cover. Will avoid these authors in future. If this is the future of books via Amazon then bricks-and-mortar bookshops, where you can browse through a copy before buying, are where I will take my custom.

Not really revealing anything "new" !
My expectations were apparently a bit too high. They cover only basics, not even one "secret" was revealed...This is really just the beginner's handbook, with a "nice cover"
