Poshland BC-307 Limited Edition - Custom Handmade Damascus Steel knife -Coloured Bone Handle

I wanted the green handle one but instead I got the brown. I will keep it for my collection. It looks well made with imperfections as is hand made. I figured is probably not hardened or tempered, but for my collection it works. I will order it again hopefully I get the green one this time.

Little on the heavy side. Didn't come very sharp. But I'm sure there was a reason. But I have used it a couple times now on camping trips. It is a fine knife but the sheath it came in hangs too low. And gets caught on every branch. But the knife is beautiful! And the Damascus pattern is not just painted on the knife! I gave 5 stars cause the value just helps it that much more!

I was delighted to get this knife and sheath. The knife is beautiful, has a hefty weight that says quality and the blade was spectacular. The handle of stained bone is very attractive. I will use this knife mostly for display as I am not a hunter and do not want it to cut my steak. Good quality but do not know where it was made. The company is headquartered in the UK but doubt that the knife was made there. Regardless, a real piece of art.

Defintely a knife for chopping. Very heavy. Came sharp. On downside is the lack of balance in the knife and the fact that it’s so heavy it falls in the sheath. The sheath is not strong enough for the weight of the blade. I’m gonna have to get a custom sheath made separately. Otherwise a great and beautiful knife

Bought this knife to test it. Not hardened steel. Not even a full tang! They welded on a metal bar, and threaded the butt of the welded-on tang! A few swings in a real scenario with this knife will leave you helpless. Handle immediately comes loose and spins around. This is a fake product in my mind and is purely a show product. It's pretty, but it absolutely cannot and will not perform for ACTUAL use. I hacked at some hard wood, handle came loose. Once the handle was loose I decided to take it apart and see the tang. And as expected because the bone could swivel. The tang was a metal bar. Do not buy this product. You're welcome. I know the blade is not hardened because when gently hitting other metals, the edge completely folds. So this blade, isnt even a blade, but a paperweight.

An excellent purchase! A piece of functional art that will be great for my collection! Heavy, solid and bigger than I thought it would be. My only slight complaint is that there was a small spot of rust on it but it wiped right off when I rubbed it with my thumb to shine like new. I think it might have been from the snap button on the sheath.

Bought this knife for my wife. Love the view of the Damascus steel. However the actual blade is incredibly weak on pattern and integrity. I love the bone handle but the blade is nothing to look at. I would never introduce someone to Damascus steel with this blade because it is lacking fundamentally. Also the sharpness of the blade is lacking and would not even cut paper. Running your finger across, it is full of bumps and grooves. Will need to be seriously sharpened.

Really well made knife. The pieces fit together perfectly with no gaps or wiggles. Came coated with grease and wrapped, as real steel should. This isn't stainless steel that you can just throw in a drawer and forget about. You have to know how to care for carbon steel to keep it from rusting; it needs periodic attention. The sheath has a nice old west look, with brown tooled leather, contrast stitching, and a loop that will fit 3 1/2 inch belts.
