Soggy Doggy Microfiber Chenille Doormat for Wet Dog Paws, 26 x 36 Inch, Large Grey/White Bone

Really pleased with this as it has finally solved the problem we have with muddy paws and our boggy lawn when it rains a lot. Luckily our Bearded Collie puppy did not choose to pull the threads out from the bone design as someone else has found, (although she did investigate this feature at first so I think that it would be better if a plain design was more easily available if you are concerned about this- they are more expensive and harder to obtain from what I could see?) and often sleeps on it rather then in her bed! Although we find the dirt-catcher type rugs and mats are very good, this is better just inside the kitchen door as so absorbant and looks really nice too. It also catches a vast amount of garden of garden detritus/ dust etc as I have found when shaking it out so is very effective for dry dirt as well as wet. It also washes well and dries very quickly on low heat (as recommended to keep the fibres absorbant) but hardly needs this as it air dries very quickly anyway. We have now bought a second one as a spare and to take on holiday.

Really like this mat & it seems to work well. Similar to other reviewers I've found the material used to create the bone image is very easily unpickable. Thankfully my animals have yet to work this out. If this could be sorted out it would be an even better product. However it does the job in terms of absorbing their muddy paw prints & collecting small muddy bits, which so far also looks nice.

As the headline suggests, the soggy doggy deserves 5 stars but the OCD side of me will not oblige. simply because it never appears to lie on the floor with clean straight lines & the chenile from around the bone design moves whenever you or the dogs tread on it so the bone looks like it has bits missing - it doesn't though!! So now we've got my OCD issue's out of the way.The soggy doggy does exactly what it says, keeps those muddy, wet paw prints off the floors, paws are dry and no more wet paw prints all through the house. Floor stays dry under the mat too, which is probably the reason most of us are thinking about buying it. It machine washes well & doesn't take an age to dry on a good day.The dogs love it, one of the girls has taken to having her morning nap on it, one likes nothing better than to take a fast run & using it to slide across the floor until she smacks in to the back door & my boy just likes to paw it into a heap which also tells you what you need to know about the backing of the mat, in short it slides/moves easily.Would I buy another, probably not, it is absolutely excellent at doing what it's supposed to do but if your one who suffers with OCD it will literally drive you round the bend.

Have two large dogs and this works a treat. Collects loads of dirt and washes up really well. Great quality would buy again.

Brilliant rug - our puppy used to hate being dried off after a muddy run outside but now he just loves this doormat - it's really soft and soaks up water and mud so much better than a regular towel. Being super soft means he won't get off it and even sleeps on it now. So good we bought another for the boot of the car to keep it clean and keep him calm!

Using this by my back door. It has reduced the amount of mud walked into the kitchen by my dog dramatically the bone is not great and could be better but it’s a good mat would recommend

Loved this so much bought a 2nd. Have it it hallway so catches dogs coming through from kitchen with any residual wet on their paws. Washes well.

Good for the purpose of a doormat however to wash, well absorbs water and is too heavy sometimes in washing machine. Think better when machine full to capacity rather than half load
