As a child my mother had one and she made us brush 50 times with the hair bend downwards and 50 times standing up straight. I do that again and the result is amazing. My hair is shiny, thick and looks very healthy. The round brush has a rubber grip on the handle, which helps to hold the brush firmly in your hand. I saw my mum use one of these sorta brushes but because I'm a save-the-planet sorta person, I decided to be extra and get this. And I do not regret it. Nearly 2 years on and she is one of my most loyal companions. Goes very well with a hair dryer but then goes quite floofy and so a straightener must be used, but the job would be considerably more difficult with this brush. I have had to put elastic bands all up the handle to stop it slipping and give a firmer grip.
