Underestimated the weight of our adult dumbo rat and by the guidelines we should have used more than is supplied in this pack to treat him but it worked effectively with no ill effects.

I could not rave more about this product, amazingly cheap considering the effect. I have a mouse who had sores all over his back and half of his ears had come off due to mites, the sores were open and pussing and despite trying lots of other expensive products nothing worked. I was unsure weather to order as it is so incredibly cheap but thought hey why not give it ago, it arrived in a couple of days and worked like magic, his sores have closed and are healing, hes happy and healthy and running around and he's stopped scratching ! must buy !!

Bought this to treat a robo dwarf hamster that had started scratching herself constantly. I didn't realise they could get mites from sawdust, so looked around and this was the most recommended product, though not strictly for dwarves. Applied about half a tube of the fluid to her back, it did make her quite wet so put a hot water bottle under the corner of her cage so she could keep warm. A couple of days later and she's back to her normal self, no scratching. Happy little girl again. A reasonably priced and effective treatment for hamsters, highly recommended.

I got this for my hammy as she was scratching lots and I saw some fleas in her fur. I put this on her, and the others weren't lying when they said your hamster will look like a drowned rat after putting it on haha. I only put one pipette on her (It recommended using both), but to be honest one was enough to cover my ham haha, I felt anxious at the thought of putting another lot on her after using one, so I didn't. I made sure I put lots of soft bedding in the cage, and put a blanket on the side, if she wanted more warmth, as it dried. She came out her little house a few hours later and it was completely dry and she looked normal again, so I was relieved ha. She scratches sometimes here and there but I think that's part of her washing herself now. I've not seen ANY fleas on her since I put the spot-on on her, so I think it worked? I don't know for sure if it was this that got rid of them, or if it was coincidence. but I know i've not seen them on her since, so I'll assume it was because of this product :)

Bought this for my Syrian hamster who I discovered had a bad mite problem. I put this on from the back of his neck as instructed and saw the results straight away, I could see dead mites coming off him (done this whilst he was in the empty bath for ease). Seemed to have helped straight away although I can see he will be needing to be re-treated again in another 4 weeks as I can see he still has some mites. Most likely will continue regular treatment with this. I will definitely be buying this again. Only thing I can advice also is that I only managed to apply this to the back of his neck and 3 quatres of his back, if I'd have managed to cover the last quatre of his back end it would have probably helped the treatment much more.

I hand reared three wild pup mice and when first discovered, they were near death and covered in parasites. When they were about three weeks old, I decided to give them a better chance and rid them of any parasites. I used Spot On; by blunting a small coctail stick, then dipping the blunt end into the solution, so the stick became a little wet and applied this over each mouse. Seemed to do the trick and with no ill effects to the mice. I released the mice after five weeks.

I knew my hamster had demodex,but a 150.00 vet visit in Canada for a 3 year old 10.00 hamster was out of the question. So instead of having to make a hamster dose from cattle ivermectin, I found this product. Around 20-25.00 including shipping is a way better option for me! As long as I keep up with putting it on him every month, it works great! (just be aware the two tubes provided will basically soak your entire hamster)
