overall this wand is a great part of the noble collection, its lighter than i imagined as most of the other wands are quite weighty and the tip of the wand is fragile including the slug eyes at the base of the handle so be careful. *bare in mind these wands are not made to be played with* im impressed with the paint work of the handle of the wand, it makes it look very life like. if you are thinking that parts of this wand are metal then they are not, *metallic paint is used* the quality is very good and this wand is defiantly worth buying :) ! i will say i wasn't impressed with the wand box ! i knew that the side character wands had the plain black boxes,the outside of the box is average and but nicely presented. however the inside in which the box in which it is contained is awful, this is because of the fake velvet plastic interior. i was aware of this when buying the wand as most of the side character wands are not available in the olivanders wand box, which is a shame especially if you are collecting these wands :/ The wand comes with clip used to display the wand outside the box with a character name, be careful when putting the clip on, you might scratch it even though the clip is padded. one part of the padding on the arm of mine is only half glued on so be careful if anyone has the same problem :S the clip is placed inside the box with the wand, not convenient considering its at the tip of the wand but its wrapped in tissue paper to hopefully prevent any damage *if you are going to store it keep the clip wrapped up* but it shouldn't be stored because its lovely and shiny and should be shown off the the world :P overall is a great product !

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He’s a really Potter-head, so it needed to be spot on. He loves it. It’s well presented and is a good weight. Really good replica wand.

In my collection of nine wands this is most certainly the most fragile.The slughorns on the end of the wand are the worst they are very fragile and the actual spine of the wand is very thin. If your thinking of buying it for someone, only buy it for a true Harry Potter fan.

This purchase is better than my last one. The paint job is more neatly done and there are no observable scratches and chips. Overall, it looks elegant and expensive. The seller is indeed reliable in conveying such a beautiful wand.

Bought this for my girlfriend who is a big Harry Potter fan. The wand comes with a presentation box and a basic stand. Would not recommend this as an item for children as it has a sharp point at the end. Good sized wand, lovely addition to her collection of Potter themed items and it now has pride of place on her bookshelf. Would recommend.

An expensive piece of resin, but for collectors or fans it's not bad to own.

This is the 12th wand I've bought via Amazon. And like the other 11 wands, this one is also in perfect condition. It looks exactly like is does on the picture. But please note: the wand itself is slightly bended. This is normal as the one in the movies is also somewhat askew, but it doesn't quite show on the photograph. And as always, this is a collectors item, not a toy.

Versand: Der Zauberstab ist zügig geliefert worden, volle Punktzahl dafür. Zauberstabkasten und Zubehör: Der Kasten ist im Vergleich zu anderen Sorten schmuckloser, was mich aber nicht gestört hat; es ist auch vorher bekannt gewesen ist. Dafür ist aber die Namenspkakette des entsprechenden Zauberers (in diesem Falle Horace Slughorn) dabei, die man wunderbar als zusätzliche Dekoration benutzen kann (z B.an einem Zauberstabregal oder-ständer). Zauberstab: Im Vergleich zu den vielen anderen Zauverstäben aus Harry Potter sticht der Zauberstab von Horace Slughorn doch schon sehr heraus - im Positiven. Der metallisch anmutende Griff mit den beiden schneckenfühlerartigen Ausstülpungen (diese haben sogar jeweils einen aufgemalten Augen-/Pupillentupfen) sieht extravagant aus; beim Spielen kann man ihn durch die Fühler auch wunderbar zwischen kleinem Finger und Ringfinger klemmen. Der ,,eigentliche" Stab ist wellig geformt und mit schwarz-weißen Schlieren bemalt, was m.E gut zu einer Schnecke mit ihren weichen Bewegungen und (z.B. bei Tigerschnegeln) fließenden Mustern passt. Wie bei so vielem sollte klar sein, dass der Stab nicht so (auch hier wieder im Positiven) urtümlich aussieht, wie der von Ron Weasly oder Harry Potter, sondern eher außergewöhnlich und sehr elegant. Ein Zauberstab muss zur jeweiligen Person passen - und bei der großen Auswahl an Harry-Potter-Zauberstäben kann sicherlich jeder das Passende finden. Ich bin rundum zufrieden und würde den Zauberstab immer wieder kaufen - klare Empfehlung.
