These are exactly what I needed to support my butcher block bar countertop. Will definitely use again for future builds. Strong, easy to install, and affordable.

I’m building an outdoor kitchen with a bar and needed more support due to the weight. It was sagging and I had my doubts. Put the fast caps in between had to cut a slot in the wood but I got a perfect fit with no sag. I’m a believer in this product.

After reading the Amazon reviews of this 3.5 x 16 x 3/16 Stealth Speed Brace by FastCap I was confused. Some said these were great! But others said: (1) These are the flimsiest ones I’ve used. Pretty poor quality, (2) They were flimsy, should always order the Heavy Duty version, (3) The person doing my kitchen remodel came to look at the support brackets Monday......Please send me a return shipping label, and 4) Don’t expect these to arrive in tact.So I went and looked on the manufacturers' website and was convinced that 3/16 thick braces should work just fine. That's what they use in their own homes. The only reason they offer the Heavy Duty version was to satisfy some additional customer requests.They arrived today well packed with each brace looking brand new. The 3/16 inch thick product supports 150 pounds per brace. This is plenty to support a granite or quartz 15 inch overhang with 20 inch spacing between braces. I mean with a weight of only 20 pounds per square foot, each brace will only be supporting about 42 pounds. On the Fastcap website, they have a video showing a man standing on and jumping off an overhang with these supports. This is an excellent product that's reasonably priced. Don't believe those other "reviews."

I used these to support a live edge wood slab and they worked even better than expected — no sag whatsoever. I did, however, add a 1.5” aluminum “L” bracket underneath the short (opposite) side of my slab as an extra precaution because one part of the slab extends out nearly 20 inches and I was concerned about the leverage coming from someone leaning heavily on that point. I would have given these 5 stars but for the packaging. The weight of the product is too much for the box. The box was torn on one end so the brackets slid out and dropped on my wood floor when I brought the package in from the front porch.

Easy to install on a 9' peninsular to allow a 12" overhang for a breakfast bar.

Works perfectly for Formica or epoxy counter tops support overhangs. If installing Granite, Stone, or marble the thicker brackets will be a must.

I used them to hold a normal counter top I put in for a breakfast bar and hides them so well! Has nothing under it holds up up good
