Gave good support and were quite comfortable
These compression socks prevented my feet from swelling after a 13 hour shift on my feet. However, although they were quite comfortable I was aware of the ribbing in the material they are made from - maybe I just have sensitive skin! Certainly good value for money. Am thinking of buying more.

Almost like ordinary knee length socks
Be aware that these offer very light compression. Having started out with and very quickly worn through a very expensive pair of individually adjusted, doctor-prescribed socks I'm now trying out a selection of cheap and cheerful internet purchased alternatives that range from tighter ones for doing sport, or for short term use, to lighter ones for use the whole day long. I've only worn these once so far but clearly they are more for whole day use rather than sports or the like. They are almost like ordinary knee length socks.

Cut off my blood flow
I've used many products like this, I use them for my line of work where I'm on my feet all day and my ankles swell and I get sore legs, I couldn't wear this for more than an hour they literally cut off the blood flow to my legs, this left very painful bands around my legs.Order with caution.

6 weeks use. Can Recommend
These socks have a little higher synthetic/nylon? content than a lot of the other flight socks, as such they are very hard wearing and suitable for anyone like myself that has to wear them daily as opposed to one-off occasions. They are a little shorter than comparable makes and come up to where the picture shows on myself (I'm 5 ft 10), but this covers all the calve muscle, adding some extra pressure to the leg, and is fine.I'll be buying more of these because they are cheaper than alternatives I've previously bought, longer lasting (based on 6 weeks usage / washing them) and are therefore much better value for money.

Very good for everyday use
Very good for everyday use, as they fit like a tight knee sock. They're comfortable and easy to get on. They definitely do make a difference for swelling, but for more demanding conditions or an operation/long flight, I would go with more expensive, medical grade socks. I have size 7 feet and bought size large.

The socks aren't as tight as my calf sleeves but they do a really good job of supporting my lower leg and also my feet and ankles and prevent them from aching so much. They are a little long in the foot but I just fold back the excess as I put on my trainers.
