I needed a smaller bin than my old Brabantia 60 litre bin. This 30 litre is just right but It does take a sharp tap to raise the lid. Not as smooth as my old Brabantia 60 litre bin lid but I do like it and it looks very good and neat in my kitchen. I still have my old Brabantia bin elsewhere which is over 20 years old and is still in good condition.

Love it that Amazon prompted me to write a review of a bin. The amazing thing about this bin is - you can throw stuff into it that you don't want anymore. Other methods of using the bin are also still supported - putting, lobbing, scraping etc. Just remember to open the lid before you throw stuff at it as there's a tendency for rubbish to bounce off if the lid is still closed.Self emptying bin - now that would be worth a review.

Really good...functions well, is elegant for a bin! Really It holds a good amount of stuff and is easy to clean.

This is a good, smart-looking bin - bought to replace an old, larger, 2-compartment Brabantia bin, as we were finding it easier to pop our recycling straight out to the bin than end up emptying the bin multiple times per day. The two compartment bin was a good idea, but not practical for an extended family.Conveniently, this takes the same size G bin liners as our old bin, whilst the smaller 30 litre size is less intrusive in the kitchen. The touch system is easy, quiet and convenient to use, and the bin liner easier to install on a circular bin liner bucket than on the half-moon versions that were in our old two-compartment bin. The lid design neatly conceals the bag edge so there is no unsightly bin liner on show. I made a mistake in not realising that there was a separate version of the matt steel bin that doesn't show fingerprints, and this does get quite smudgy.

The bin has a 10 year warranty. However I still have one of these bins which has lasted 20 years so far and still going strong. I expect this one will be the same. However the down side is they are expensive but I suppose you get what you pay for. If you shop around the occasional bargain can be found if things like the colour are less important to you.

I was first given a second hand foot pedal Brabantia bin when I moved into my flat 8 years ago and have always been impressed with how good it was at keeping the smells in. Especially important when you have an open plan kitchen/ lounge.I decided it was time to get a new one and upgrade to the touch bin and after 3 weeks is couldn't be more pleased with it! I've only used the Barbantia bin liners it came with so far, which are so easy as they fit perfectly.I thoroughly recommend this bin, it's worth paying a bit more for the quality and you never get the horrible smells that I've experienced in some of my friends' kitchens that use other brands.

Perfect bin - sturdy and looks great in the kitchen. Excellent quality and worth the money!

This was replacement for similar size Brabantia pedal bin. Whilst the pedal bin was of excellent quality the distance from pedal to metal lid made pedal operation awkward so tended just to lift the lid! The touch lid makes it a better operation!

Der Mülleimer ist einfach top. Die Verarbeitung ist gut und er sieht hochwertig aus. Die Klickfunktion des Deckels ist einfach super. Er wertet die Küche definitiv auf. Auch die passen Müllbeutel sind gut, da kein Platz in Müllbeutel verschwendet wird. Wir sind sehr zufrieden.

Magnifique poubelle, agréablement haute pour ne pas avoir à se pencher jusqu'à terre. Le système d'ouverture du couvercle est d'un confort extrême, et le format des sacs permet de bien les remplir tout en limitant très fortement les odeurs. Simple à déplacer avec sa poignée, sa conception rend le nettoyage presque inutile.Alors oui, elle est chère, mais une aussi bonne qualité et un aussi bon confort valent bien ce prix !
