TetraPond Vacation Food Slow Release Feeder Block, 3.45 Oun

I have one bottom feeder and a large gold fish. They love it. When I came back from vacations it was all gone. Didn't soil the water either like other multi-day feeder blocks do.

I found this product to be an effective performer. In two 6-day episodes in the last two months I found my dozen pond goldfish to have been well fed when I returned from a trip away from home. I've been aware of Tetra for many years of as a capable source of various products for aquariums and ponds. I was not aware of this particular pond fish product until several months ago. As advertised, this gelled food product did sink to the bottom of my pond and did not quickly disintegrate -- and in fact took more than a week to disappear. After about 24 hrs of a first insertion, it was clear the fish were gravitating to this source of food in the pond. If you've got pond fish to feed while you are away, this product seems well worth a try.

Does its job and the fish are still alive and well when we got back from a weeklong vacation. It is super simple to use, just pop it in the pond and the fish will take care of the rest. Great value since it is only a few dollars versus paying a neighbor a lot more to come feed them.

I use this vacation fish feeder for my fish tank last week when l was away for 5 days, Came home today and to my surprise all my fish had died. I clean the tank a day before leaving however the water was very milky. I am so disappointed, because l read a lot of reviews thinking this product is the best . Will not recommend for anyone.
