Great product. Good quality. Needed a clock with more traditional look, over modern, to replace an older clock which my elderly Mother had for many years and had broken. This clock looks great. Very well built.

Widdop Gold Carriage Clock
Its Great. Worked straight out of the box (after inserting a battery). Realistic Gold Colour and nicely finished off down each side. The top "handle" is the same colour as main body which is not easily shown on the internet site. Its on display in the living room mantel and is a "silent" tick. Looked on eBay and let down twice, but recovered outlay through eBay.

Carriage clock for the mantelpiece.
Smart, traditionally styled carriage clock. Bought to replace a similar model that had packed up. Contains classic quartz movement (1xAA battery required) inside solid metal case. Decorative handle is plastic and has come adrift on one side. Still stays in place, just don't pick it up by the handle.

It looks very good , has a very quiet tick. Its easy to read.it keeps time perfectly.well worth the price.

PRETTY CASE BUT CHEAP $2 BATTERY MOVEMENT
I bought this as a "carriage clock" depending on the WIDDOP name for quality. I can buy a clock with the same movement for under $10 in any WALMART. Nice case but cheap insides, WIDDOP should be ashamed to put their name on this product.
