Surprised as to how tasty they were once cooked in the oven for 10 minutes.Try with sour cream or pepper.Make a good protein snack.Don't be put off by the initial thought of "insect" .They dead.Try them you'll be surprised !!

So tasty! A new experience which surpassed my expectations!
I tried these crickets for the first time recently, not knowing what to expect. They surpassed my expectations! They really do taste like a nutty prawn and I found them really easy to cook with - I roasted them and covered them with salt and chilli and served them as a snack to my guests! My dad tried frying them and serving with rice and found them really tasty too. I really think this could be the future of food - good for the environment and full of protein but the most important thing for me - they tasted great!
