Her annoying cousin comes to do a magic show so her parents tell her to stop opening her presents on his arrival. They put it under the sink and she finally opens it right at the end of the book. My daughter was desperate to know what was in the present the whole way through. This meant she was ultra keen to read it as quickly as possible. We have fallen in love with Isadora and it has helped her reading progress so much. 100% recommend this and all the Isadora Moon books

Great books for little readers
My 6yo loves these books. Great step up for little ones who love to read and/or take the lead with reading. Love the activities at the back and recipes. Good fun!

Lovely books
My daughter brought home one of the Isadora moon books from her school to read and we fell in love with the characters. Fabulous story, my daughter is 5 but quite an advanced reader and loves reading these

Lovely book
Lovely book, bought 2 for kid's birthdays but unfortunately one has water damage as packagewas left in the rain. Won't return but packaging could be better to avoid this.

Crazy fun
Isadora Moon wants a birthday party that isn't a fairy one or a vampire one, she wants a human one so her friends can come from school. However her parents do not fully understand what she wants and therefore chaos ensues. At the same time Isadora learns an important lesson not to worry so much and to enjoy what comes. Her family are special in their own way. I am really loving this series and look forward to the day I can read it to my own children or my nephews and nieces.

The Isadora Moon series is perfect for kids beginning to read. Right spacing and word size, great illustrations and moreover the language is suitable with no slang.
