Game Changer!
This product is a life saver! I have the hardest time trying to get a pill into my cat and I have the wounds & scars to prove it. I've had to medicate her a lot in the last couple of years so she quickly builds suspicion to the least change in our routine and she bolts to hide under the bed where I can't easily get to her. I think I could wrestle crocodiles easier than trying to medicate her. With this product, she thinks its a new treat and does not manage to eat the treat and then spit the pill out....with American cheese, Vienna sausages & occasionally onion dip she figured out they were loaded treats & would not eat them at all or would eat around the pill. I store my product in the refrigerator (though not required) because she seems to like cooler foods and when I medicate her I feed her meds like a treat and then throw in a couple of "blanks" of just round balls with no meds in them. I still get the side eye occasionally but since she enjoys the taste and texture of the treat, it's no where near the challenge it used to be. The product gives me peace of mind that she is getting what she needs in the way of her medicine and its nice to not have to fight and lose her total trust in me. The portion I received should last me a long time so its one of the best $20's ever spent. The bacon flavor smells nice even to me & if it can please my little snowflake, it should please anybody's pet. I highly recommend this product and plan to always have it on hand.

This works where all my other options have failed.
So far so good. I bought this to give anti-nausea medicine to my 28 year old cat. He was throwing it up or heavily drooling after eating and on an empty stomach because the pill is so bitter. I wrap the pill in this stuff and he eats it, swallows it and never notices the bitter flavor. Maybe he’ll figure out that I’m tricking him someday and I’ll be back to square one but for now we have a solution that works. It smells like bacon and wraps like clay. My cat loves it.

Works for my cat who needs a daily pill!
LOVE this stuff and how easy it is to administer a pill to my very picky and sensitive cat! He loves it and eats the whole thing right away, completely none the wiser to the bitter pill in the middle. He does tend to swallow treats without chewing them well, so if your cat is the same way, they'll likely love these too. A note that some cats might not like this; one of my cats turns his nose up at the scent and won't eat it.

My dogs like it
Good pill wrap. I was afraid that my dogs would not like the taste or that it might cause stomach upset, but neither is the case. My dogs eat the pills I wrap every tme, and it seems safe and easy on the stomach. It is easy to scoop out, like a paste, and form around any pill. It is thick, but can be made as thin as needed. It has a smooth texture. It is quite costly. This is the only pill wrap I have ever tried, as it is what my vet sells, but since it works, I'll continue to repurchase as needed.

My (hyperthyroid) cat loves this stuff
My 13 year old cat was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I now have to give her a pill twice a day. I didn’t want it to be a traumatic experience for her so I figured I’d try this. I wrapped the pill in a small amount of paste and set it on the floor by her. She gobbled it up right away and she seemed to love the smell and flavor. The 2nd time I gave her the pill she ate it right up again. I’m glad I don’t need to shove/shoot the pill down her throat. I did make sure that she actually ate the pill too and she did. 😊

Great choice for you and your best friend
We had tried all kinds of different things for our dog who had to take about 7 pills a day as he went through chemotherapy. With several of the things we tried like peanut butter and cheese he would still spit out the pills and it was a real chore. Someone in the vet’s office mentioned this pill wrap and he took to it immediately. He never tired of the wrap and never spit out another pill regardless of size. We went through two jars before he finally crossed that rainbow bridge last week but this wrap made those last few weeks so much easier for him and for us.

Excellent pill hider, but watch for tummy sensitivity
My geriatric cat will go on a food strike if he even suspects I'm trying to give him medication. Pills, liquids, crushed tablets hidden in food—he's seen every trick in the book. When my veterinarian recommended this paste for hiding an antibiotic, I was extremely skeptical. To my surprise, he scarfed it down like it was the best thing he'd ever eaten and immediately wanted more. I was honestly stunned. For a cat that normally treats medication time like a personal betrayal, this product was incredibly effective. The paste is easy to mold around pills and did an excellent job masking the medication. If your pet refuses pills, this may be worth trying. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that I suspect it didn't agree with my cat's digestive system. He had some loose stool while taking antibiotics, which can happen with antibiotics alone. However, three days after the medication was finished and his stool was nearly back to normal, I gave him two pea-sized pieces of the paste as a treat because he was still begging for it. Within about 90 minutes, his stomach started gurgling and he had diarrhea for the rest of the night. I can't say with certainty that every cat will react the same way, and I'm not willing to test it on my other cats just to find out. What I can say is that it worked remarkably well for hiding medication, and I will continue using it when pills are involved. I just won't be offering it as a regular treat.

This got my cat to take her medicine without stressing
I could not be happier with this pill wrap. I originally didn't try it since my girl doesn't like pill pockets but it's definitely worth trying. The strong bacon scent really helps. This jar will last a good while as well with the amount I tend to use covering her pills daily. --more info and a tip for dosing cats that dislike soft textures: My cat has anxiety, FHS, and other issues. One of the medications she takes is fluoxetine which is not at all palatable to her. We've tried so many different ways to get her to take it, but either she'd just entirely avoid it if mixed in something or she'd get even more stressed out by it being pushed on her using a pill shooter or gelatin capsule. This is the first thing we've tried that actually completely worked without any stress for her or wasted meds. She seems to like the taste of it and is drawn in by the bacon scent. She doesn't like the texture much since it's chewy and she's a crunchy treat girl. At first we stuck it to the back of one of her favorite crunchy treats and while that did work out somewhat, she would pick it up and drop it a few times before eating it because the soft texture threw her off. To avoid that, I started splitting the crunchy treat as evenly as possible, putting the pill on the inside, and pressing the other piece of treat back on. It works because the wrap is kind of sticky. It kind of looks like an ice cream sandwich at that point. Then I use broken crunchy treat bits to fill in the edges and sides as much as possible to cover that sticky, soft texture for her. It ends up looking like an irregular, slightly thicker and uneven treat at the end. She actually tends to choose that one first because the bacon scent entices her and she now happily takes her much needed medication without any additional stress. We've given other pills to her using this method and she's eaten all of them without any problems.
