Love these crochet hooks. Super comfortable to hold and crochet with. The throats are smooth and deep enough to hold the thread/yarn securely whilst working. I use these hooks over other more expensive types everytime.

I bought a range of these inline hooks and I absolutely love them! I bought these as I love my inline maple hooks but missed having a handle so thought this was a good compromise.

I have bought Susan Bates' hooks in all the sizes!! Love the large bamboo handle - very comfortable to use!

Easy on my hand

I am an avid, experienced crocheter. I am used to using the regular, cheap, aluminum hooks you find at the stores. They make my hands tired and I get cramps from crocheting.I bought a few of these in various sizes - the bamboo handles are awesome! They use the heat from my hand and reflect it back, so it keeps my hands from aching. The hook is light weight, and the handle is a little wider than a normal aluminum hook, so it's way more comfortable!The head of the hook is "sawed" style - not rounded - if that matters to you - some prefer one over the other - I'm still on the fence (I know.... one would think I would have decided after 14 years of crocheting, but I haven't decided).I have tried to collect a complete set of these, but I can't seem to find a few sizes - I wish I could find them all in one large set. I only just found a set of 14 for around 40$ with S&H, which is a little cheaper than buying them at around 5$ per hook, but it's from an external site (not on amazon) and I'm picky who I buy through - for security reasons. Hopefully Amazon will sell sets of these, soon!I definitely recommend this product! Happy Crocheting!!

I picked up crocheting again a few months ago and have been buying hooks as I need them for projects instead of buying a pack and never using some sizes. This is my favorite hook by far and will try to buy other sizes from the series! It is a comfortable weight, the handle is light and it feels good quality for the price. I don’t care about the color but it is true to picture.I included pictures of the hook tip itself because I can’t describe it quite well. It’s slightly pointed and not round so it goes through yarn stitches smooth and holds yarn great! I notice I crochet faster with this hook compared to others I own.I also love the bamboo handle. It feels comfortable even though I don’t hold it from the handle itself but closer to where the hook size/logo is.

I've used these crochet hooks for several yrs now and live them. I'll never go back to a regular hook. The bamboo handle is so comfortable and easier to use. I lost my G-4mm hook and I almost cried not having it but as always Amazon came through for me! I would recommend these hooks for a beginner or someone who's crocheted for yrs!

I absolutely love the Susan Bates crochet hook with bamboo handle! I've crocheted numerous projects of various sizes and found the hook fits comfortably in my hand. While I have a collection of other types of crochet hooks (plastic, wood, etc.), this one is always my go to.
