Canon Ink - PG-545XL High Yield Genuine Black Printer Ink Cartridge - Prints Up to 400 A4 Pages (1 x Cartridge)

Excellent item and very good value

I've used "compatible" inks before on a previous printer, from a well known reputable firm, but found them problematic. After a while I was getting terrible quality printout, and I thought the print head had gone. The first question the repair guy asked me was "do you use Compatible ink cartridges?". It took me a week of soaking & cleaning with alcohol to get the head working again. Compatible inks use water as a medium, whereas genuine inks use a more stable medium which doesn't dry out quickly. So I now use only genuine ink in my printer. They cost far too much, and Canon use price maintenece, so are never discounted, but they always work in the printer, are problem free output, and don't dry out. So I give these inks 5* for performance, but 3* for value as they almost cost the same as the printer to replace. The XL give better value than the standard, and it's not as though I'm going through lots of cartridges in a year. And it's actually cheaper to buy black & colour XL with photo prints paper cheaper than just buying the cartridges alone. I think the price fixing goes against anti-trust (USA) legislation and EU fair trading laws on competition, but as I'm in post-Brexit UK it looks like I'm stuck with it. Anyway, congrats to Canon on an excellent product, if a premium price.

OK but unreasonably dear

Good quality as expected. Dropped into the printer without issues, aligned the printer head, scanned the alignment, all good ! Last identical cartridge ink capacity (XL) lasted ages ! Compatible as expected because it was Canon OEM ! ( Original Equipment Manufacturer ). Printed brilliantly first time out ! We always try to buy Canon OEM ink cartridge for our Canon Pixma ! Still going strong ! Paid delivery was great as expected and delivered next day ! Thanks, Amazon ! 5 Stars !

Ho acquistato la Canon Ink PG-545XL Cartuccia di inchiostro nero originale a resa elevata per la mia stampante Canon e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. La qualità di stampa è eccellente: testi nitidi e scuri, senza sbavature, perfetti per documenti professionali e materiali di studio. La cartuccia ha una durata superiore rispetto alla versione standard, quindi si stampa di più prima di doverla sostituire, rendendola conveniente sul lungo periodo. L’installazione è semplice e veloce: basta inserirla nella stampante e il riconoscimento avviene immediatamente, senza errori. L’unico piccolo punto da notare è il prezzo leggermente più alto rispetto alle cartucce compatibili, ma la sicurezza di avere un prodotto originale Canon, senza rischi di danni alla stampante, vale decisamente l’investimento. In sintesi, consiglio vivamente questa cartuccia a chi cerca affidabilità, qualità e durata nella stampa in nero.
