Philips Lint Remover and Fabric Shaver, 8800 rpm, 3 Blades, for Clothes

This fabric shaver is really useful and easy to use. It removes bobbles and fabric pills well, helping clothes look fresher and giving them a new life instead of replacing them. The large blade surface makes the job quick, and it is handy that it comes with batteries. Very happy with it!

Absolutely love this. Battery life is good. It's good value for the money, it's quite big in size. It's easy to empty and put back on. Not sure how easy it would be to find spare blades when needed. It does the job and makes clothes look brand new again! Be careful on edges of sleeves etc cause it can nick them and cause small holes.

I was genuinely surprised by how effective this Philips Fabric Shaver is. It removed lint, fuzz, and fabric pills from old jumpers, coats. It works especially well on wool jumpers and winter clothing that tend to collect bobbles. I’ve saved several items that I was close to throwing away because they looked worn out. Battery life is good, the device is quiet enough, and overall it’s one of those small household gadgets that turns out to be far more useful than expected. Highly recommended if you want an easy way to refresh clothes and fabrics. Excellent value for money and genuinely effective.

Works really well and has brought so many of my clothing back to life! The battery life is long and is so easy to carry with you. Be careful if taking it with you in your bag as the switch to turn it on can be triggered by other items in your bag accidently... making some suspicious noises

I bought this Fabric Shaver (not a phrase I ever thought I'd hear myself say) because one of my high-end fleece jackets had become very pilled over the years and had been relegated to gardening. That broke my heart as it was a very good garment and I wanted to wear it in public again. I had tried removing the pilling with a small wire brush but that just made it look like a badly mauled cat. So ... I bought this. This is seriously impressive. It did take me several hours to do the job over two days just stroking this gizmo backwards and forwards very gently over the surface of the fabric, no pressure needed (or recommended) until all the bobbles had gone. They collect in the handle of the shaver and can be tipped out at regular intervals, so there's no mess. The shaver itself is buzzy but not loud. It comes with two AA alkaline batteries but I used my own rechargeables. Rechargables usually carry less charge than a single use alkaline but even so I was on my fourth pair by the time I'd finished. You might want to have new batteries standing by if it's a large garment. I worried initially that the blades might damage the surface of the material but I needn't have. Even over the seams it caused no harm at all and when I'd finished the jacket looked like new. Result! I don't usually write product reviews but I wanted to here because I was so impressed (I wasn't asked to and I wasn't paid, in cash or kind. Nor am I a bot or AI - unless we all are, but that's a different discussion). Well done Philips.

Nice and big but so slow to remove bobbles and often requiring to go over the same area many time.

Did a good job at removing some bobbles i had on a pair of trousers. Blades were sharp and it took minimal effort and removed them with ease. When my brother ordered this product, I really thought he was wasting money on something that wouldn't be of much use, but how wrong I was. This lint remover gave a new life to my old woolens. I had previously tried removing lint from my woolens using combs and razor (got these ideas from insta) but all failed and these clothes had been locked in an old box, but this product changed it all. It is easy to use, removes all the lints and gives a new life to your woolen. A must buy.
