Appreciated the simple concept. Wish the filter was larger to accommodate at a minimum a full standard 6-8oz of water at a time. having to stand there and pour a couple oz's at a time is tedious. Extremely fragile and cheap glass. Owned it for a whole week before I lightly bumped it on the sink and the bottom shattered. Really wanted to like this product, perhaps my expectations were misplaced. Disappointed.***UPDATE*** 3/21/18 It wasn't long at all after my initial review that I was contacted by Amanda and Justin at Coffee Panda. Standing behind their absolute customer satisfaction policy, they refunded my full investment AND replaced my item free of charge. WOW! I was even willing to forgo the refund and give the product a second chance. But they insisted in the refund and sent me a new product. I certainly hope I'm more careful this time and am able to enjoy this product for a long time.Outstanding customer service! I bumped it up 2 stars for their efforts. At the end of the day, I appreciate and respect people whom stand behind and more importantly out in front of their business. Great company

I am in love with the Coffee Panda products. It's clear the people behind this brand care. After buying their cold brew makers (amazing), I decided to get myself set up for hot coffee for those extra cold mornings, and man this pour over set is a wonderful way to start the day. The design is GORGEOUS, and with good coffee grounds, it's a beautiful thing making a warm pot of pour over with the Coffee Panda. They've included a really nice stainless coffee spoon and filter, and a rubber non-slip pad which protects your counters, insulates the glass a bit and secures the unit. Everything about it feels high quality and none of our friends can believe the price! This is gonna be my go-to Christmas gift!

Went through a ton of reviews for this and other product before purchasing, specifically for the concern of breakage. Saw enough 4-5 stars to pull the trigger on this.Happy CoffeePanda user for a couple months, still using caution when washing. Then one day I was filling my stainless steel sink. With just enough water in the sink, the CoffeePanda started floating, tipped over, hit the top rim on the bottom of the sink, now under a couple inches of water, and shattered instantly. The breakage resulted some severely jagged pieces of glass.Love the filter, still using it every day with a small pyrex measuring cup. I still would recommend this product, just don't ever leave in your sink, wash it with other things, be super super careful with handling it while washing. Definitely not lab grade borosilicate.

Ratings explanation-- no more difficult to clean or use than other manual pour-over makers and, in contrast to the experiences of a few other reviewers, I encountered no problem with the included permanent filter. In fact, I was somewhat surprised at how well the small filter cone accommodated the mug-filling amount I brewed. Flavor was the equivalent of what I achieved with the filer and (soon-shattered) carafe that came with my Gourmia coffee machine. I can't authoritatively address the fragility or sturdiness of my new Coffee Bear carafe, but my first impression is that it is no more delicate than the carafe it is replacing, and, if anything, is slightly thicker.The main reason I was skeptical about the Coffee Bear filter cone was that it is SO much smaller than the filter cone that came with the Gourmia-- much more so than the difference in the size of carafes (the Gourmia could hold 30 oz) accounted for. I didn't know whether Coffee Bear filter would be too slow, resulting in the cone overflowing, or whether it would allow the water to drain too quickly, resulting in weak coffee, but encountered neither problem.BTW, I had occasion to contact this company on a tangentially related matter, and was pleased not only by the promptness of their response, but also by the tone and specificity. They even went so far as sharing information regarding an automated coffee maker that they do not sell, but which they hold in high regard. I am left with impression that pleasant, honest, well-intended people operate this company. And, yes, I'm an actual customer who paid full price.

I wish I could give this a 4.75 rating.First off, Coffee Panda makes fabulous coffee related products. Their products are beautiful to look at, and work well. I currently have three of their cold brew makers, and my only complaint is that they do not offer one larger than 1.3 liters.I am now on my third pour over coffer brewer. It is a great looking product and makes fabulous coffee. My only complaint is that the glass is very fragile (hence, my third one, and a 4.75 rating). If they made the glass a little stronger, I would give it a 5+ rating. As long as you are not a klutz like me, constantly knocking over things, I enthusiastically recommend this pour over brewer.

Great product. Amanda and Justin also has great customer service and provided me a replacement just to ensure my satisfaction. The flavor extraction from the pour over is wonderful and so easy to use and clean.I really like it and now I am trying out their Cold brew. Got a nice Cinnamon Tumeric Cardamom Peruvian Papua Guinea coffee ready for tmr mornings workout :) Keep expanding A&J and the good work, I will continue to support your future products. I ordered one of these at the beginning of the year to replace another product that had a filter that clogged regularly. I found this one to work much better, and was easier to clean the filter. Unfortunately after three months the base of the filter popped out. I contacted the good folks at Coffee Bear and they took care of me as best as they could, given the backorders due to our current situation. Just received the replacement unit from the earliest batch they could get to me, and am very pleased to have it all working again. A good product is only as good as the service behind it, and this is one of those. Thanks Coffee Bear!!
