Does this have all the same benefits as eating cranberries, or is it just the chemical that helps with uti's? Is it just cranberries minus the water?

You will have to eat alot of cranberries to get the benefit of this capsule. It helps in keeping away UTI. One a day is all you need.

how can one bottle contain the equivalent of over 6.5 lbs of fresh cranberries and be so cheap (120 caps x 25,000 mgs = 3,000,000 mgs or 6.6 lbs)?

The process involves concentrating the product by removing excess water. The chemical inside cranberries that provides a benefit to the urinary tract is called proanthocyanidin. So essentially they are putting that chemical (that’s the science word for it so don’t get scared by that) equivalent of 6.6 lbs of fresh cranberries in the bottle. It doesn’t have the rest of the stuff. Hence it’s much smaller. (If you want more of the science, proanthocyanidin makes it difficult for bacteria to bind to the inner lining of the bladder and thus makes it harder for them to flourish there. Because this area is often “flushed” by fluids the bacteria must have a means to bind themselves to the tissue in order to continue to grow. Some research refutes these claims however my experience is it helps with symptoms and that’s good enough!)

it is distributed from Utah most cranberry products are from 1 USA 2 Canada 3 Chili so there is better than 1 in 3 it's from the USA this is my opinion, not fact, none the less its a great product at a very good price
