The Octonauts and the Only Lonely Monster: Now a major television series!

My autistic daughter loves the Octonauts books. She keeps asking me to read them throughout the day and for her bedtime story. She loves exploring the pictures and finding all the characters and the story lines are brilliant

Although not the BBC version of the octonauts it is a beautiful book, the illustrations are appealing to adults and children, the text is easily understandable for my 3yr old, if a little long for him. My 7yr old likes to read it to herself. A definite keeper and I think I will be keeping an eye out for other books from meomi. If your child is not interested in the BBC Octonauts don't be put off this book - it's excellent in its own right. A real must for a little bookworm and would actually make a good present. I'm very pleased with it, and I'm especially glad I got a hardback copy as its being read every nit at the moment!

Great book

My son is an Octonauts nut, so this book was always going to be a winner. But he LOVES that we have to turn the book all the way around as we explore all the poles, and there are so many interesting animals to pore over, and details to explore. The story is great too.

A good read and I love the concept. I do wish the female characters spoke more. My little girl loves them!

The early Octonauts books have a unique and unusual style, which may not be to everyone's taste, and might be surprising if you're expecting something which looks like the cartoons (as the newer books do). But in my opinion, both the artwork and stories are great, there's so much going on in every page. My 5 year old daughter has learnt a great deal about both common and unsual sea creatures thanks to the Octonauts books & cartoons. The true proof of the pudding, is of course do the children eat it? We've read this book more times than any other, and my daughter is still fascinated by the 4 pages where the Octonauts search the points of the compass (which necessitates rotating the book on each of these pages) and encounter creatures speaking different languages. She knows all the multi-lingual phrases off by heart.

My kid picked this book and I found it on Amazon. Although kindle version is much cheaper, my kid doesn’t feel the same to ebook compared with those hard copies. They never read ebook alone but would spend time on hard copies. Maybe better in the future when I built a ebook library for them.

My 3 year old son who is an Octonauts fan loves this book. Its a nice little story and keeps the parents busy by remembering which way the pages turn when the books turns around as part of travelling the worlds.
