Beaphar Care+ Chinchilla Food, 5 Kg

Perfect non selective feed for Chinchillas. Have used this for years.Great value and saved a ton by buying in bulk :)

I am not sure if the product has been changed or the product is different as we are making a saving. But the nuggets are only yellow and green and the same size and shape. it states 'NO BISCUIT LEFT' this is not our experience at first, although they are getting use to it now they still leave loads. for me this is NOT a saving and i will buy smaller bags when this is gone.We MIX care + with Extra Vital as we have one chin refusing to eat Science selective since they changed their recipe.

It's a great product recommended by a friend of mine who is a chinchilla breeder. My chinchillas absolutely love it! 5kg pack lasts for along time, but if you buy it I would advise to store it in some plastic box with a lid (to keep it fresh).It improved my chins coat, they seem to have more energy and if they could smile they probably would do it every time I refill their bowl :)I buy Beaphar Care + always on Amazon, as they normally have the best price, it arrives quickly and is well-packed.

If your chinchillas health is a priority for you then please don't order these pellets from THIS supplier. My chins love these pellets, however the package I received today ( 1st time ordering these from Amazon) was open, not even sealed along the top and held together with one flimsy bit of sellotape. The pellets didn't even smell anything like the Beaphar Care Plus I've had from previous supplier (only 1.5kg bag, hence the reason for trying these) So, I'll continue to use Amazon obviously but never ever for these pellets.

My chins love this food. i have a pair and they will kick or throw other food out of the cage but will scoff this food down as soon as they can.the 5kg size is great and lasts for many months (as i only have 2 to feed) all in all this is a really good chin food

Best food you can get in the UK without paying an arm and a leg. My Chinchillas always have been picky eaters but they love beaphar care+It doesnt contain unsafe side pieces like veggies,fruits, nuts or seeds (which are dangerous for a chinchilla due to high sugar and nutritions) unfortunately this is a common mistake chin owners do, same with plastic in the cages and wheels under a diameter of 14".This food prevents Chins from picking out their favorite pieces and leave the important ones behind. They are also very crunchy and hard, which maintains their teeth

My 2 chins are happy on it they have no preference but 2x the price of a similar product elsewhere

Produit ouvert ce jour, la couleur des granulés correspond à celle d'une production stoppée par la marque. La date de péremption sur le sac est le 7 décembre 2023! Je vais donc donner une nourriture totalement périmée à mes chinchillas. Je ne peux pas renvoyer le produit puisqu'il est ouvert et je ne vois pas comment demander le remboursement de ce produit périmée. Très mécontent d'avoir été victime d'un déstockage au prix fort. J'attend donc la réception d'un produit non périmée pour pouvoir jetter celui-là.

ce n'est pas la première fois que je commande ce produit qui est d'habitude des croquettes de plusieurs couleurs et aujourd'hui je reçoit des croquettes que d'une couleur pourquoi ce changement de croquette ?

J'ai hésité à acheter ces croquettes pour mes octodons, et me suis dit que ce serait un test, la nourriture pour les chinchillas et les degues du Chili étant assez similaire. Ces croquettes sentent très bon (une petite odeur de thym), et en fait mes octodons en raffolent ! Ils ne font pas de tri, ils les mangent de manière équilibrée avec aussi beaucoup de foin qu'ils ont dans la cage.Bref je pense que j'en reprendrai !
