Massage it directly into your scalp is one of your option: Take about 5 drops of rosemary essential oil and massage evenly into your scalp after bath or shower. Mix with a carrier oil (like jojoba oil or argan oil). Rinsing out the oil afterward is optional — though if you do rinse, first let the oil sit on your scalp for at least 5 to 10 minutes beforehand. It can be applied directly to scalp. Here are some tips:Take a small amount of rosemary oil to the scalp and hair, massage with fingers for 2-3 minutes for better absorbed. But if you want to left in overnight, your pillow will be a little be oily. Maybe rinsing out before go to bed is a better choice. Is a carrier oil a must? You can just use this rosemary oil directly, you can also use it as a carrier oil. Best wish
