This worked great on my laptop, but I didn't buy it for that I bought it for my PC that I was upgrading to Win 10 and Bluetooth keyboard I'd bought a while ago. The add stated Win 10 compatible but some other reviewers has mentioned it hadn't always worked for them but I thought I'd give it a go. Nope, didn't work for me on Win 10 either so returned it and ordered a replacement that did work.Although it didn't work for my intended application, it was well made and came with full understandable instructions for the technically challenged. Shame really, nice item.

Excellent adapter and exactly what I needed to link my laptop (which had no Bluetooth capacity) to my Bluetooth speaker. Also successfully used it to link my phone and transfer files. Just brilliant and an excellent price too, highly recommend. Came well packaged and instructions on setup were clear and easy to follow.

I bought 2 by mistake. A friend of mine who is a computer expert tried his one out. He put it into his computer tower and it fell apart. As he tried to take it out, the whole thing fell apart. I have still got the spare one. I would suggest you buy a better one than this. Pay a bit more and get a better quality one. Unless I had 2 which are faulty. PC. 12. 04. 2019. There must be better ones than this one on the market.

Fine, the different model numbers are confusing, however, I bought one that was first marked on-sale November 2015, but received an older model than the drivers on the DVD catered for. It's still perfectly functional - although I was expecting something a little bit more special, as you can get something that does exactly the same for £4.

Wanted it for one of my older laptops that still has XP Pro SP3 on it that I often use as a media centre that didn't have inbuilt BT and it has been perfect. Works with all of my BT headphones/earphones and any thing else that communicates via BT I have tried it on, e.g. file transfer to/from my Android smart phone. Plus it protrudes so little that it can be left in the laptop all the time with little risk of damage, well unless you plan throwing it around or deliberately knocking it against hard objects, in which case, caveat emptor :). I can happily recommend this.

Unfortunately my Windows 10 laptop did NOT recognise the drivers immediately or at any time. CSL has no affiliation with CSR Harmony, who are a serious Bluetooth player. The same product is badged by many suppliers: my CSL actually had a "USB Micro Bluetooth Dongle, LogiLink" on the package sticker. Another company, Trust, sell the same device. I couldn't even determine the chipset being used, as the driver failed to load, and even pointing Windows at the driver location didn't install the correct drivers. Finally, I found THIS link [...] which pointed the way to BlueSuite 2.5, and that download gave me the needed drivers and Bluetooth tray application. After that, everything worked. The chipset/firmware is the CSR8891 and the driver is BlueCore. When its working, it's a good device with many advanced features. It's possible some other Intel Bluetooth device was stopping it from loading correctly, but my experience of installation was poor. I'm on the Windows 10 Insider program, and have the latest updates.

Not much to say really. Added BT to my home built Windows 10 PC. Very easily and quickly connected a keyboard and my mobiles. And added BT to my Raspberry Pi media system. Hey it worked. Small profile that takes up a USB port (2 or 3). Good product at a good price. If you have problems it's probably you not the product.

It does what it says it does, though it installed a Bluetooth log in option as a different account on my PC which was hard to get rid of.
