Damn the handle is sexy!
I ordered this blade on the 21st and received it in 24th. Two days before the earliest delivery date which I was quite happy. So first impressions out the packaging was "Oh lord this handle is sexy!" That said the handle is very nice, really happy with it. It has a nice feel and fits well in your hand. The blade look very nice. Patterned very well and looks just like old Damascus steel. It isn't very sharp though. Struggled a little to cut through paper but tbh I bought it for the looks and not the sharpness so kind of expected. The pouch is also good quality. Great fee and size. Knife fits inside perfectly and sits on the hip nicely. Wearing it now and hardly notice it's there. It was packaged quite well too. Wrapped is several layers, I doubt it even took a bump through its journey here. Had a laugh when opening it thinking "you won't accidentally open this".All in all I'm very happy and it becomes one of my knives I can say I have no regrets in buying. And seriously, the handle is soo nice.

Surprisingly excellent
I purchased this item against advice from reviews on the net, they said it would be cheap and terrible, however, at £45 inc. shipping I decided to get it. Knife first off, feels great, nice weight, IS legal to carry as blade falls under 3" and is non-locking, the leather pouch is good quality leather with a belt ring, It isn't very sharp initially though it is incredibly easy to give a decent edge. There are minor flaws, like spillage of the damascus etch acid onto the stag antler leaving a little blue mark, and a tiny nick in the blade, but these were incredibly negligible. I can assure you this is genuine damascus as it follows the indentation marks on the blade. Locking feels good and sturdy and it isn't difficult to pry open. I'm no expert, but I'm not a novice with knives either, I have a size-able collection (not wall-hangers either) though I do not camp or engage in bush-craft and I can honestly say this is a fine knife. Do not hesitate, it arrived next day! Fantastic service, fantastic product :D.Many Thanks!-Al

Qualty product ! Qualty price ! = Qualty knife !
First class service arrived next day. This is a penknife of the up most qualty. The metal work is stunning. The knife is a work of art, lovingly put together. The damascus blade is marked beutifully with the swirly pattern. The knife is solid and heavy for it size. The blade is razor sharp and the knife fits in the palm of your hand like a glove. This knife looks like it will last me a lifetime. If you are looking for a nice gift, or just a very special every day penkife, then dont hesitate to buy this. This knife is nothing like other penknifes and at this price is a real bargin.

Simply the best knife I have ever owned - What a Joy
Simply the best knife I have ever owned. Looks astonishing. Sharp as a Scorpions sting. Cannot be faulted. First class Damascus patterning. There is only one thing I would say is that this edition appears to carry a leather pouch bag which though hides the Sheer beauty of the knife itself I am worried about the day-to-day knocks and scratches you will inevitably obtain. I also agree this by itself adds a certain character and a beauty that cannot be compared with. However, saying that if there is any way I could have a pouch bag to add protection and robustnes o my pride & joy would be more than most welcome.Apart from that I've now had my knife since October since and it still stands as the Best knife I have ever had the pleasure of owning. All and everyone of my colleagues have a gleam of pure jealousy.

Very pretty but not quality steel
Seriously it does look great but don’t fall clever marketing, the Damascus steel effect is poor and scratches off very easily, the steel is also extremely poor quality and after it loses its initial sharpness (which it does after barely any use) does not sharpen up properly again. If you want this as a letter opener or a mantelpiece decoration then it’s top notch but if you want it as an actual knife, it’s useless. All in all I was really looking forward to this and am sorely disappointed, especially considering the pricetag

Overall great knife, some small niggles.
GoodThe steel is beautiful both on the blade and handle. The stag antler looks smart and adds a nice touch to the knife which is complimented by the engraving/ etching down the spine of the knife. Some reviews say that the styling is over the top and spoils the knife slightly, however I think all these elements work well.BadThe reason i have given it 4 stars is because the rivets used to fasten everything together have not been filed down flush with the body of the knife. This could be for a reason, e.g. not wanting to damage the stag antler. However it retracts some of the feel for the knife in my opinion. The knife also did not come particularly well sharpened but this wasn't much of an issue as I have all the necessary tools.
