We've long had issues getting the strongest TV signal to our house. We live in a suburban area, in amongst a number of very tall trees in the neighbourhood that, depending on the weather conditions, can play havok with our TV picture. We live in Derby which is about equidistant between the East Midlands transmitter at Waltham (28.3 miles away) and the West Midlands transmitter at Sutton Coldfield (27.9 miles away). Ideally we'd want the East Midlands transmitter as Derby generally features on the East Midlands news/sport programmes. We're on to our third TV aerial since we moved here 10 years ago, the first two pointing towards Waltham but would always be at the mercy of the swaying trees as to whether we got a stable picture. About four years ago we had a new aerial fitted, a pretty substantial thing that we decided to have point towards Sutton Coldfield. Through all of this we employed a 4 into 1 splitter booster box. The aerial comes into the loft and then I split the signal into four seperate cables that head off around the house. The splitter box deals with that, and boosts the signal at the same time. Recently, we'd started to suffer from a serious reduction in our TV signal quality. I wondered if it was down to the booster box coming to the end of its life, so I decided to replace it with a very similar product, which so happened to be the best selling product of its type on Amazon. It also featured a 4G filter which helps with any interference on the frequencies 4G use. The TV signal was better than it was, certainly, however the issue turned out to be a new 5G antenna that was installed close to my house a year ago but only got commissioned within the last few weeks. I did a bit of research and found that 5G antennas can be responsible for TV signal break-ups. And the 4G filter that was in this new TV booster splitter would have no effect as it's a different frequency entirely. In fact, I found that the booster box, necessary to get any kind of TV signal to our house, could even take the 5G signal and boost that as well causing increased interferrence. So, I needed a 5G filter as well, which I bought from Amazon. Between that filter, and this booster splitter with 4G filter I've covered all bases. My TV signal is now absolutely spot on. Although this splitter box wasn't the actual solution to the problem that I was having, it's still an improvement over the splitter box I was using and If a general splitter/booster is what you're looking for then I certainly recommend it.

Since I no longer have freeview this no longer works for me, but it has worked well for me, just what I needed, nice and solid, the sockets are a bit tight but not a problem, better than the old one. I tend not to mount these things, it does have holes in the back, easy to instal, you just plug it in.

Works well most the time but sometimes it won’t let me change the input without disconnecting and reconnecting the cables.

This TV Booster is a excellent bit of kit. I was getting a lot of Solar fades where you get interlaced blocks on your Television, caused by heavy rain , thunder storms, Snow, heavy winds etc. In my area the signal is not too good. Every station was very bad with signal loss or interlaced break up blocks. I wished I bought this earlier for the Olympics. This device has fixed all my channel’s with excellent reception and perfect performance what you should get with a 4K UHD TV. Very very happy with this purchase and great buy. Very good and very easy to use

4 way signal booster worked for 4 months and will not even power up now. Before that I now see that there was something wrong as I was unable to receive some stations that I had received before. Amazon advice was to ask the manufacturer and a contact link was available to send a message. I did this but he company (Philex) do not even bother to reply. Useless product and useless after sales service.

The second bullet point states - Integrated 4G filter removes interference and channel loss from your TV caused by 4G mobile phone signals. This is not true according to the accompanying instructions which tell you that you can order a 4G filter if you need one. I am annoyed because the 4G filter was part of the reason I chose this item. Having received it, Amazon is not offering me a link to contact the seller (or themselves) to complain about this. The signal booster otherwise works satisfactorily so I don't want to return it. Just disappointed that I didn't get fully what I was expecting and no means to complain (apart from this!).

I already had a strong TV signal, but wanted a splitter that could give me a reasonable picture on an occassionally used TV that had to run off a long (20 meter) coaxial cable. I've tried the cheap standard signal splitters but they ruined the signal on my main TV and provided only a very poor signal on the second set. This booster/splitter REALLY works, it has slightly improved my already strong signal for the main TV, but also provides an excellent strength and quality signal on the second set even with the long coaxial cable. I bought the 4 way version and have actually tried using all 4 points at the same time which resulted in NO loss of signal strength or quality. The unit is very easy to set up, just plug in and go .... Yes, this does cost more than some products, but you get what you pay for and to me this item is worth every penny. I could not be more pleased or satisfied. Also very quick delivery.

Brilliant signal amplifier/distributor at a competitive price. Doesn't get hot so should last a long time.

Bonjour , pourquoi il n'y a pas l'adaptateur secteur Français , donc on coupe le fil et on remet une fiche française et si l'appareil ne fonctionne pas , pas de retour possible , BRAVO !!!!
