French Ages 5-7: Prepare for school with easy home learning (Collins Easy Learning Primary Languages)

My 7 year old is due to start French lessons in September, so I decided to order this book to hopefully give him a head start. The book aims to teach basic french for 5-7 year olds in a fun way. My little boy loves the puzzles and games and has already started picking up some words. Would recommend this book for young children just started to lean French.

Bought it for my son to support him learning French. Good quality and quick delivery.

I would give this book five stars as I think it's excellent but the fact that most of the people in this book are black or people of colour is difficult for me teaching french to a small child who lives in England. 95% of our country is white, and France has a similar percentage, so why are most of the characters in the book not white?

Brilliant learning tool - should be in every primary school in the Uk!

This was bought for my 8 year old granddaughter, who is just starting to learn French, to be used in conjunction with "French for Beginners". The result has proved beneficial to her in improving her use and understanding of the language.

Got this for my nephew his is just learning French at school

My children already understand french so this is a bit on the basic side but it's a great place to start. There's quite a lot of drawing etc so it's a fun book for them.

The book is lightweight and thin. But not to be thrown to the side by its appearance. This book is substantial in its ability to appeal as comprehensible, to a small child. It delivers in a fun simple way, the foundation of learning. My son has learned what is in this book already. However this workbook is a great review course.

One day while visiting my grandson asked me if I could teach him French. Given that I only remember a few words/phrases from my high school days, I went in search of a book that might help. This one is fantastic. It is a book we can have fun with. He won't feel like it is 'work'. I don't know where this experience will take him, but this book will help encourage him to move forward.

Good content to support a child learning French. Shame the paper is a bit flimsy.
