Lovely with honey
The media could not be loaded. Just received it and starting to take it, good all round product and benefits look it up! If it's too bitter use honey mmmmm.

Traces of other spice
I'm sure there was a substantial percentage of shativari in this product but undoubtedly there was the presence of other spice.I had mistakenly left a more positive review previously.I had found an excellent Shativari powder by the brand Nature's Spirt here on amazon but unfortunately it is no longer available here.

Excellent quality full of flavour
My cupboards contain an array of high quality herbs and spices that I enjoy cooking with and using for thier vast benefits to improve my wellbeing. Mother nature provides well and knowing these herbs are certified organic and gmo free gives me piece of mind that I am using high quality ingredients and therefore the most effective product. This is my first time using Shatavari and it seems like a good way to get those antioxidents into your diet, I have been using it in smoothies and experimenting flavouring some meals with it.The quality and flavour are good, I have several others from this brand all of excellent quality at an affordable price point. The packaging is ecofriendly and resealable so easy to keep airtight however sometimes the spices get in the seal and you just have to press a little harder to seal it and wipe the seal occasionally. The packet has a small clear round window on the front allowing you to see the herb inside, feels of good quality and seems to hold up to a little moisture well.

Shatavari Powder, well packaged
Shatavari powder comes from the roots of the Asparagus racemosus plant. This is related to the asparagus plant, called Asparagus officinalis, but it’s not the same plant. Asparagus racemosus is native to India.Shatavari is an adaptogenic herb. Adaptogenic herbs are used to help regulate the hormones produced by the hypothalamic, pituitary, and adrenal glands. Like all adaptogenic herbs, shatavari can be used to help your body manage stress and improve your overall health.Add it to honey and hot water for a nice drink. Hard to describe the flavour, I don't like these weird tea's etc, so I was surprised to actually enjoy a cup of this.Packaging is pretty cool too, pouch can stand up by itself.

Interesting and unusual flavour
I was not previously familiar with shatavari but I like a lot of herbal teas and the like so decided to give it a go, particularly as everything I've ordered from Whole Food Earth has been of a consistently high standard. The flavour is interesting, taking a little getting used to but pleasant once you get the hang of it and a quantity level that suits you. As with any powdered drink it's always worth being thorough in the mixing. The packaging is good and has a zip lock, but from experience with similar packs in the past it won't make a truly airtight seal so you might want to transfer to a container with a very secure lid if you want to keep the atmosphere out fully.

A good quality iteration of a sub-par product
After receiving this Shatavari powder, I did a bit of research into what exactly it is. It is said to have health benefits, namely female-specific benefits, and general good health for all. After looking into it further, there weren't too many human test studies, so bear that in mind if you are buying this specifically for the proposed health benefits.I tried the product by stirring it into hot milk, as proposed by many of those online who swear by it.The product itself is more savory than sweet, making the suggestion of using honey to balance it out something I'd highly recommend. The texture was unfortunately very gritty, even when thoroughly stirred in. It produces a dry, sand-like texture at the back of the throat when drank, making it rather unpleasant to consume in this form.If I actively wanted to take Shatavari, I'd turn to tablet/capsule products that would avoid this method of consumption. The packaging is eco-friendly and fully recyclable, which is a plus, and the powder itself is well presented, though possibly a bit too coarse. If you're after Shatavari powder, it's a good option from a considerate company. If you're after the proposed health benefits, I'd try another product.

Awful Quality
Majority of products from this brand are low quality, i am not buying anything from this brand anymore due to multiple products from this brand fall below high quality.

Actually really nice
This product was recommended to me so I was really pleased to find it at a reasonable price.Being of a certain age it was suggested to use in a tea style drink to aid with mood boosting and hormonal balancing.I added a tea spoon of powder to my usual start of the day hot water, honey and lemon and it was a lovely flavour addition. As I spend most of the remaining day drinking coffee I didn’t find it bitter at all.Looking forward to tomorrows kick start beverage and hopefully reaping the rewards
