Hello, I can confirm that the mask is attached to the cape.

Im 6ft 4 and about 17 stone will xl be big enough

No problem, I am 6 foot and it was fine for me. The worse case is that the legs might be a tiny bit short but wear black socks. The suit was great fun, the belt was not the best.

Is the chest detail as shown on the image or is it just a print on?

It's a proper muscle chest not drawn on but the costume Is awful. If you do buy it get a separate cape, mask, belt and boots and gloves. The mask is cheap cloth attached to the cape, the boots are covers not shoes, the cape is cheap and flimsy, the belt is rubber like a cheap dog toy and the suit isn't great .the muscle chest is only bit worth using. I dont think gloves came with it either so you'll need those too. Look on eBay, etsy, Ali express and wish Type batman cosplay and buy bits separate. Save your money and get a decent costume. If it's just for a fancy dress party get it and buy a separate dark knight mask off Amazon for about 20.00. I wish all reviews on here were as honest as this one save alot of people alot of money.
